Why Is The Media Now Witch Hunting On Donald Trump?

Donald 3Donald Trump

By Joel Savage and Johan Van Dongen

They may not even talk about you. What you do may not even be a matter of talk of the town. People may not even care about you or your efforts, but as soon as the impact of your success reflects on society, people will start investigating your background, and bring whatever wrong you have done or said against you, just to create barriers for you.

That’s the case of Donald Trump at the moment. Since he won the Nevada Republican caucuses by a huge margin, chalking up his third straight triumph in the party’s presidential nominating process and building momentum ahead of a critical multi-state, many are upset and wish to cause his down fall.

In the past, many are not interested to find out what Donald Trump said or did, but now he is under the subject of witch haunting. I wasn’t surprised to see compilations of statements of Donald Trump, by individuals and section of the media taking them as insults, just to convince Americans Trump is not the right person for them.

Against George W. Bush Trump said ” He is a liar, because he invaded Iraq while there isn’t any weapons of mass destruction.” I don’t hold anything against Trump here, because he said the truth. Against Jeb Bush, Trump said “everyone of those people who contributed are getting something to the detriment of America” Is Trump wrong to make such statement? I don’t think so.

Against Barack Obama, Trump said, “Perhaps the worst president in U.S. history!” “spends so much time speaking of the so-called Carbon footprint, and yet he flies all the way to Hawaii on a massive old 747” “Is our president insane?” “has a horrible attitude” “he is just so bad!” “I did much better on 60 Minutes last week than President Obama did tonight” “terrible”“incompetent leader” “all talk & no action” “hollowing out our military” “weak & ineffective”.

Since politics is often said to be a dirty game, what Donald Trump has said in the past or present doesn’t matter to me. The question is: Why is the media witch hunting him now? Is it because he is doing well on his campaign trail? There is a lot the media needs to do than seeking the failure of Donald Trump from becoming America’s next president.

I have said over and over and will say once again. I can only regain confidence in the European and American media, if they uncover the medical crimes Europe and America committed against Africa, because that’s what will restore their lost credibility, and restore the faith of many readers and viewers they have lost.

Jesus Christ: The Carpenter Who Became A Superstar

EMMA

Jesus is one of the world’s outstanding religious leaders, a teacher, philosopher and a prophet, even though the Bible doesn’t mention his name as one of the prophets.

He was an ordinary young Jew born into a family of Carpenters and he passed through a painful death of crucifixion. The fact about this great teacher is: He never commanded an army, but today many people from all walks of life and army generals bow to revere him.

He wasn’t an author, but books about him are widely read and handled by the best literature professors. He never ruled a nation but today, some world presidents, politicians and monarchs of high esteem adore him.

He never had any university education, but twenty centuries later, his works are being preached, archived and thought by best professors in science, arts and religion.

The great teacher said: “I am the light of the world.” John 8:12. Yes! He is the light of science, politics, literature, humanity and civilization. The greatest liberty ever given to man by God is ‘choice.’

Would you therefore emulate and imitate this great teacher, to be happy, faithful, sincere and healthy in life or you simply like to walk in the opposite way? In God’s kingdom, there is nothing called ‘Failure or Impossible.’

The two words of stumble block, are the tools of unbelievers, the reason many fail in life, while others succeed in life. Take away those shackles of your mind and let your faith and the truth set you free to prosperity and success.

How To Promote A Book Without Using Social Media By Barbara Beckwith

Social 3Book promption without Social Media (Article Originally published in BuildBookBuzz)

Many authors think they can’t promote a book without using social media. That’s bad news for the countless who don’t enjoy using social networks or don’t want to learn how to use them effectively. (Are you one of them?)

There’s good news, though! Those who think they can’t promote books without Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or any other social network are wrong. Publishers and authors promoted books successfully long before the advent of social media.

Those of you who want to avoid using social networks can do just that and enjoy success without posts, tweets, shares, or updates. But you can’t do nothing – you have to use other tactics to reach your target audience.

Learn nine non-social media tactics you can use to promote fiction and nonfiction in this week’s article:

Marketing beyond social media

When I asked authors in the Build Book Buzz Facebook group what they’d like to learn about through this blog, several wrote a variation of “marketing beyond social media.”

Easy.

Two of my traditionally published books sold out a combined four press runs without a single tweet, post, update, or share.

With that in mind, here are nine things you can do to promote your book without logging in to a single social media account. They’re in no particular order.

1. Guest blogging

This involves finding blogs that reach your book’s target audience, studying the type of content they use, and contacting the owners to propose that you write an article for the blog that will interest its readers.

In fact, here’s a guest blog post I wrote about guest blogging: “Guest Blogging for Authors is Alive and Well.” Here’s more advice on “How to be a great guest blogger.”

2. Book fairs

Exhibiting at these local and regional events lets you meet and converse with readers, network with other authors in your genre, and learn more about industry developments. If exhibiting doesn’t appeal to you or isn’t in your budget, attend anyway — you can still talk to other attendees, connect with other authors, and so on.

3. Publicity

People often confuse publicity with advertising. Publicity is the free exposure you get when you’re interviewed by or mentioned in the news media. I’m a national award-winnig former publicist, so you’ll find lots of information about how to get publicity on this site.

Typing “publicity” into the search box on the right generates a list of articles, as does searching for “media.”

The “Book Marketing 101″ courses (one each for both fiction and nonfiction) on the training page also teach you how to generate book publicity. You can get the tools you need — templates for pitch letters, creating and practicing memorable sound bites, the messages you share, radio email pitches, and so on — in Build Book Buzz Publicity Forms & Templates.

4. Create a holiday

It’s easy enough to create a holiday and select the annual date for it. But it’s not enough to just pick a date and call it your own. For it to have book marketing value, it has to have a direct link to your book or something in your book (for example, the author of a novel or children’s book telling Raggedy Ann’s “real” story could create Raggedy Ann Day),  and you have to spread the word about the special day you’ve created (publicity is a good option).

Once you’ve got your concept and date, get it listed in Chase’s Calendar of Events. The deadline for the next book is April 15.

If your holiday is quirky, contact the folks at Holiday Insights to get listed on their site.

5. Speaking

Speaking, which is particularly effective for promoting memoirs, has evolved to include more than standing in front of a group and sharing information they’re interested in hearing. Now it includes presenting at virtual (online) conferences and being interviewed on podcasts.

Authors and public speaking: 5 reasons to be an author who speaks” will talk you into speaking to groups about your favorite topic.

6. Email marketing

Social media serves a purpose, but if the social networks you use disappeared tomorrow, what would you be left with?

Nothing.

But you own your email list. Even Mark Zuckerberg can’t take that away from you.

Build a fan base and get to know many of them better by creating an email newsletter that encourages recipients to share information with you. Get an overview of the process in “Building your author e-mail list,” then read, “What should I send to my author e-mail list?

7. Book signings

This is a great tactic for extroverts, especially those who enjoy public speaking, because today’s book signings are about entertainment, not books.

Jane Sutter Brandt explains how she had a blockbuster event in “How to sell out at a book signing without being a celebrity.” Learn what popular young adult author Megan McCafferty does at her book signings to keep people engaged and entertained in “Best selling YA author Megan McCafferty adds unique signature feature to book signings.” Get how-to tips from “Your book signing event tool kit.”

Consider doing yours at a venue that’s related to your book’s topic instead of a bookstore, too.

8. Create an event with other authors

Do this locally at a library or at a function room at a book lover’s conference such as the Dayton Book Expo. Collectively, you can Entertainmentattract a large audience of people who enjoy reading the types of books you write.

9. Meet with a book club

You don’t need social media to find and connect with book clubs. You do need to write the type of book that clubs read, though, and you need to do a few other things, as well (including finding book clubs). Learn how it works in “Authors and book clubs.”

Pick the one option of all of these that appeals to you the most and learn how to do it well. You will see that you enjoy book promotion more — so you’ll probably do more of it. That, in turn, will lead to more success.

Take that, Twitter.

What do you do to promote your book that doesn’t involve social media?

Why Many Are Giving Up Blogging?

King 5The significant aim of every blogger, especially writers, is to win the heart of readers to visit their blogs. This the way to tell your visitors what you do. After all the hard work, at the end of the day, only between ten to twenty readers visit the writer’s blog. This is very frustrating indeed.

There are hundreds of articles online, giving instructions on how to attract more traffic to your site. Like many others, I have  tried a lot of them without success.

Sometimes, you might feel that your articles are boring or not inspiring, but that’s not the problem. The reason many readers aren’t visiting your blog is: You are posting an article which has already been written by hundreds of writers. Who is interested to read an article written by hundreds of writers over the same subject?

A successful blog has nothing to do with the number of your followers. You can get over million followers, yet still your blog can’t be progressing or successful, because of lack of readers. For example, it is better for any blogger to get at least between 50 – 100 readers per day, than having thousands of followers.

How many of your followers have the time to read what you write? This is the question you need to take into consideration when blogging, in order to create irresistible articles to draw readers’ attention.

Before writing any article ‘Google’ the subject and find out first how many articles are online over the same subject. If there are hundreds of similar articles online, please don’t waste your time to write or post it, but if you still want to write that particular subject, then let it be entirely different from previous published articles.

Investigative articles  are very interesting, always attracting readers, but if you are scared to publish an article over someone, organisation etc; you will never be successful as a blogger, unless you are writing for fun. Fear is a psychological disease that holds success, thus; you’re preventing your success.

I publish articles the media or bloggers dare to publish. Because that’s what many readers want to read. They want something, different, truthful, scandalous and interesting. This is the secret leading to the success of my blog, without enough followers and without paying a cent for any promotion.

If you are an effective and experienced blogger, you can see that traffic on Saturdays and Sundays is very low, yet good articles can easily increase the rate of traffic significantly on both Saturdays and Sundays. You may not know the impact of your articles on society, so never quit. Write interesting articles to be in the race.

How Do You Envisage Your Future In 2016?

Happy New Year

What do we learn in every old year to live better in the new year?

Within a relatively short period from December 31, 2015, to January 1, 2016, many people couldn’t make this cross-over. Through various reasons, including sickness, they lost the battle to see the year 2016.

There is no doubt that we all had both  positive and negative experiences last year, but since you’ve made it to the new year, what are your hopes, dreams, and aspirations? I strongly believe that your dreams can be a reality in the year 2016.

How prepared to improve the soured relationship with the members of your family? How prepared to change your bad habits to enjoy your professional career? How prepared to be humble and respectful, to get the right gentleman or lady as your partner?

How prepared to make this world a better place for our present and future generation, in a world many think violence, crime, and terrorism, are the only solutions for common problems? We can’t remake the world, but our good deeds can change it.

There is every reason to be happy among those that made it to the new year. Your success, happiness, destiny and good health, are in your own hands. Don’t commit any crime when you know that you will be punished and don’t live in the realms of destructive drugs when you know may affect your health.

Instead of blaming others for the destruction of the world, we should take it upon ourselves to restore our nation’s dignity. “Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.” 2 Corinthians 13:11.

Keep On Writing Until The Bones Are Rotten

Bones 2Photo credit: Pixgood.com

It’s unfortunate that many have already given up or quit writing, because the book which they thought could make them bestselling author, has totally disappointed them, terminating the desire to be a good author.

In a world of which thousands of books are published yearly and affected by the rapid decline of reading, many are struggling in the field of writing with shattered dreams.

What is making the situation worse, is the sick habit of some famous writers, that often used Social Media platforms to discredit other writers’ work, as a way to draw readers’ attention to their works or gain more recognition and fame.

Again some unknown and new writers that want their voice heard or recognition, resort to undermining other writer’s work on social platforms as well. I have read such distasteful comments about other writers over and over wondering: Why some people live with greed and selfishness, aiming to achieve whatever they are looking for?

As a matter of fact, if one is intelligent to write a book, that intelligence is enough to teach the person that “Success comes to people that wish others success. They should make research and find out: “Whoever digs a hole against someone will surely fall into that hole himself.”

As an aspiring writer, what pushed you into writing? What are the motives that triggered your desire into book publishing, money or fame? I’m interested in these questions, because if you’re an aspiring or new writer, entering into the field of publishing, with the desire of becoming a millionaire over night, then I’m sorry, you will end up disappointed and depressed.

This is the situation many aspiring writers are facing today. What many writers have failed to realise is that: Stepping into the field of book publishing as a new writer, is like a stranger making proposal to a woman he finds attractive. She doesn’t know you, she therefore needs more time to know your background and where you come from.

This investigation or proposal may last a month or years, depending on what kind the lady is. After her investigations, if she is satisfied, she will accept the man’s proposal and marry him. The same way it takes a short or very long time for readers to accept or reject your book as an author.

If you have this in mind, as a new writer, before entering the field of book publishing, you will always be happy, easy and relaxed, no matter how poor or fast your books are moving. There shouldn’t be a competition in book publishing. If your book doesn’t suit this generation, another generation will accept it. The reason many writers become famous years after death.

There is a time for everything. A time to sow and to harvest, sickness and healthiness. Thus; there will be a time the underestimated shall be estimated. Let this article encourage you, if you have already given up or decided to do so. Even though, writing is considered to be one of the most dangerous professions, let the writing continue unabated until the bones are rotten.
