“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. That’s one of the numerous quotes by Jesus, recorded at Matthew 7:7-8. Apart from “Love thy Neighbour as thyself,” I consider this particular quote recorded at Matthew 7:7-8, as one of the most powerful gospel quotes by Jesus.
Imagine, can you know the deliciousness of a food when you haven’t tasted it? Without making a journey to a place, how can you know the beauty of that place, because pictures aren’t enough? Without reading the Bible to understand the gospel, to seek the face of Jesus, how can you know him? It’s necessary to search for something before you can find, isn’t it?
Again when you need something without asking, how do you receive it? And when you are entering the house of your neighbour, you may stand behind the door for hours, if you don’t knock on the door to be welcomed. “Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God.”
With the world full of crime, immorality, wickedness and the shed of innocent blood, I wonder why atheists and scientists don’t try to heal the world, but rather try to distort the gospel, change the faith of believers, to join them in putting petrol into the high burning unquenchable flame that we are experiencing presently in our society.
A Texas Teen Says He Saw Jesus Before Being Revived. Zack Clements suddenly collapsed while running in P.E. class. He was clinically dead for 20 minutes. What he saw during that time can only be explained by the faith that so many believe in. Doctors can’t explain the miracle, but the family believes that a divine hand may had played a major role in the recovery of Zack Clements.
According to Clements, “they said I was without a heart beat for 20 minutes.”
When doctors finally got a pulse, Clements was airlifted to Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth. He would wake up there in the intensive care unit days later.
His recovery has been hard to believe, but even more amazing is the story he tells of what he saw when his heart stopped beating.
“When I was out those 20 minutes, I saw a man who had long ruffled hair and kind of a thick beard, and it didn’t take me long to realize that that was Jesus,” he said.
He described what the family is convinced was a miracle.
“I went up to him and he put his hand on my shoulder and he told me everything would be alright and not to worry.”
His father Billy Clements says he know it’s a difficult story for many people to accept, however for him and his family, it’s the only thing that makes sense.
“For him to wake up and tell us something he experienced like that. It’s just you can’t explain it. It’s not humanly possible to explain it,” said Billy Clements.
The teen’s mother, Teresa Clements says although it may be a medical mystery to doctors, she has accepted that her son coming back to life was a result of divine intervention.
“I’m just glad he decided to let me have my baby back,” said Teresa Clements.
How do we explain this amazing event? Was Zack’s near death experience a divine intervention? Did he really see the Face of God?
The writer’s opinion:
Let your yes be yes, and no be no. Don’t let any devil rob you of your joy and faith. Don’t be deceived that money will give you all the happiness and comfort, because many rich people continue to commit suicide. If you need food to be strong, then feed your body spiritually as well, by reading the gospel, to stand firm to pass the test, trials and tribulations in this wicked world.
