My Name Is Savage, But I am Not Savage

Big Joe 5“Whatever happens to me benefits me.” – Joel Savage

Why many do ask me if ‘Savage’ is my real name? Once a British woman told me she hates her name ‘Mrs Ball’ and worst of all, my father’s name is ‘Mr. Underworld,’  she said. Yes, many of us have strange names. Some do change and others keep them.

I was born Joel Savage, at Cape Coast, in the central region of Ghana, on January 19, 1957, to Justin Savage, a professional journalist and Nancy-Elizabeth Hudson, an accomplished seamstress and a sewing teacher.

Last year, during my summer holidays in Barcelona, Spain, I gave one of my books to a student I met at the hotel I lodged. At the computer hall, I was flabbergasted when I saw his friends laughing at my name. I pretended I wasn’t listening to their conversation.

Then on January 1, 2016, history repeats itself. At the Kotoka International Airport in Accra, Ghana, when ready to board my flight, an officer at the last checkpoint controlled my passport and the only question he threw at me is: How do you pronounce this word? Pointing directly to the name, “Savage,” I answered.

“Well, I’m glad that you mentioned it yourself, because I thought that may provoke you if I had said the same thing.” He said and gave back my passport to me.

If names have impact on people, then I am exceptional. I am happily married since 1993 and still live with the same woman. If I’m savage, uncivilized, cruel or a beast, my wife wouldn’t have been with me today. My three sons can stand behind me and tell everyone how caring and compassionate their father is.

What I know about myself is, I have intrepid sort of character. I don’t give up and no one can break me down physically, psychologically, emotionally or spiritually. In my life, I take any misfortune as beneficial and every problem as a challenge, because you can’t survive in this world if you submit to problems.

This is the reason many people are depressed, alcoholics or drug addicts. Because they don’t have the will power to fight and overcome those destructive tendencies. Savage is just a name but it has no influence on me. I believe in God and the Bible is my shield and Armour.

How I Met Professor Johan Van Dongen: The Dutch Scientist Who Revealed Aids And Ebola Were Medical Crimes Against Africa

Johan 10

Since I share every article I write on social media platforms, I have got a number of readers, writers and authors interested in my articles, but I had no idea that there is a Dutch scientist, who reads every article I shared on LinkedIn’s social platform.

Just as a man’s desire and character show who he is, my articles revealed my identity to Professor Johan Van Dongen. He realized that not only that I’m fearless but also honest and sincere writer, who is ready to die, far as truth is concerned.

Since we have something in common and has that fearless character, he perceived that I was the right person to collaborate with to warn African leaders over the misuse of Africans, as Guinea pigs, to test drugs manufactured in Europe and America.

The conscience holds many individuals back from committing crime and as a scientist, he has the power to join the empire of deceitful scientists to plague Africans with diseases, but he chose to remain neutral.  His research dated back as far as 1972, revealed Aids and Ebola were laboratory engineered or man-made viruses.

Set to reveal those medical crimes to the world, he first published his books in his native language, Dutch, in Holland. The books were successful but the Dutch Government felt he was a betrayer or whistle blower, thus; they embarked to make his life miserable. He was fired as a lecturer at the university and faced many legal actions at the court.

Out of the blue, Professor Dongen introduced himself to me on LinkedIn’s social platform. I secretly started digging into the background of this man, since I don’t trust anybody in a country called Belgium; unless the members of the Jehovah Witness, because I worship with them every week, even though I’m not yet a full member (Not baptized.)

Professor Dongen, had already contacted some few Africans, including journalists, on those medical crime issues, to help disseminate the news and warnings to African leaders, but he was totally disappointed, because of fear. Yes! Africans pull knives and cut their brothers throat in wars and ethnic conflicts, but believe me, many are very coward indeed.

One can witness the cowardliness of an African in Europe, when an African is murdered or manhandled by the police. They will group somewhere to discuss about demonstration. When the time of demonstration comes, you will never see those you sat down with couple of hours ago, leaving one or two people at the demonstration ground to be a scapegoat.

I don’t blame them, food is very delicious, so nobody wants to miss his favourite dish. Fortunately, my scripture reminds me that: “Man shall not live by bread alone, so many times I read the Bible, to feed my life spiritually, to be able to stand any force or wickedness that comes my way.

This is the reason when the police in Holland, forgets to feed me the whole day, while behind bars for six days, I didn’t demonstrate. I was able to sleep peacefully without food for the next day. In the morning when I was served breakfast in my tiny cell, I asked the police officer: “Why I wasn’t given any food the whole day yesterday till this morning?”

My question changed his countenance and he thought I was joking. “What did you just said?” He asked. I repeated what I said. Confused and downhearted, he went and did his investigations and finds out that I was speaking the truth. He apologized and said to me: “You were too quiet, so we don’t know there was someone in there.”

The mistake they did touched them emotionally to the extent that, they gave my passport back to me and asked me to go home. Believe me, the Dutch police doesn’t free an illegal immigrant. This sounds like a tale, but the police in Amsterdam can confirm this story, above all this interesting story can be read in my third book: Overseas Chronicle-The Rome And Amsterdam Esperience.

After reading much about Professor Johan, satisfied and knowing that he is a genuine person, I responded to his invitation. He posted his two books, one captioned “Aids De Grootste Misdaad In De Medische Geschiedenis”- Translated ‘Aids The Greatest Crime in Medical History.’

As our friendship grew stronger, I realized the man’s clean heart, conscience and love for mankind. I wasn’t surprised to read that he invented artificial rat to perform his experiments, to prevent animal cruelty. This exceptional good conscience is hard to find among some of the wolf-scientists in sheep’s clothing.

It wasn’t long we decided to translate his books to English version. Translating Netherlands to English and all the scientific theory works, proved to be a very tough job. We did our best. Whether the translation was good or not, our message is to let the world, including Africa, know that Aids and Ebola were indeed medical crimes against Africa.

African leaders have disappointed us more than the ignorant Africans that claim Aids and Ebola are curses from God. The fear of dealing with Aids and Ebola crisis alone, when they confront Europe and America haunts them, thus; they chose to remain silent. But the truth is, that silence is seen by Europe and America as lack of intelligence and cowardliness.

To The People In My Life….

Power

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through difficulty, to  provide you with guidance and support, to aid  you physically, emotionally or spiritually They may seem like a godsend  and they are.

They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.

What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled,  their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on. Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season!

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you  have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant!  Thank you for being a part of My Life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime !

Let Love Be Your Identity Without Hypocrisy

Love 2

A depressed teenager

Do you know that your little kindness can completely change the life of someone? The hope of many is gradually fading. They don’t feel secure anymore and the love they are looking for, is nowhere is no where near. Many stay in bed for hours, yet they can’t sleep, because they lack love and good friends.

Having friends they say is good, but there are good and bad friends. Friendship sometimes burn like acid, giving you the feeling of leaving this wicked world, all because there is no love and if there is, it’s never genuine.  All over the world, including America, there are racial problems, because there is no love.

Is the Bible the best book to read? Yes! it is, but many don’t see it that way, yet the uncountable prophesies are taking place. “They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.” Yes! it is taking place right now.

Where is the love that everyone needs? Where is the love which can heal the world? Where is the love that is not sold but is the most ‘expensive’ thing to get from humans? Now I know the reason Jesus said “Love thy neigbour as thyself.” But who is our neighbour? We are the neighbours, meaning love must be part of us till the end of our lives.

We live now live in a world most people do not have compassion. Many are cruel, love violence, and have no love for their neighbour. I don’t need to black, white, Chinese or Indian, before you love me. In this cruel world, money, wealth, luxury and friends can’t make one happy. All what we need is peace and love.

Love 3

A depressed child

Let love be your identity where ever you go. Let love be radiant in your life to reflect on others. Let genuine love be the key of your life to open the doors of those that need happiness, food and shelter. Let your love bring back those spiritually dead without hope back to life.

Let your love take away the depression, frustration and loneliness of someone facing the hard reality of life.  Open the door for someone so that you could see his or smile. Bring sunshine in the life of one who feels darkness always around him and your reward will over flow its banks.
