Belgium: Is The Royal Family Proud Of The Horrible Crime Leopold II Committed In Africa?

Mathilde 2King Philippe and Queen Mathilde: What kind of heart do they have inside them?

“It takes a million people to build up a good reputation, but it takes one stupid fool to destroy everything they have done,” sings the late Lucky Dube, South Africa’s reggae legend. This is the exact situation of the Royal Family of Belgium, because one of the ancestors, King Leopold II, was a greedy mad ruler and a murderer.

Some women have given birth to monsters to rule this world. Apart from Adolf Hitler, Idi Amin, Pol Pot, Josef Stalin, Saddam Hussein etc, another evil man whose crimes against humanity shocked the world is King Leopold II. Born on 17 December 1865 in Brussels, the horrible crimes Leopold committed were swept under the carpet, but the hump in the carpet has exposed his heinous crimes to be seen by the whole world.

In  1880’s, when Europe was scrambling over the continent of Africa like ants stumbling upon sugar, Congo became the personal property of King Leopold II of Belgium. The 905,000 square miles (76 times larger than Belgium) of African rainforest held vast natural mineral resources, including in rubber, a commodity in high demand in late 19th century industrial Europe.

PICA 2A victim of Leopold’s brutality: A mother who has lost his right arm breastfeeds her child while another  child stands by her in shock.

King Leopold II of Belgium was responsible for the deaths and mutilation of 10 million Congolese Africans during the late 1800’s. On his throne in Brussels, Leopold gave orders to his commanding officer to: Cut off the heads of the men and hang them on the village palisades, also their sexual members, and to hang the women and the children on the palisade in the form of a cross.”

Leopold’s reign of terror wasn’t only the cutting off the heads and hands of the innocent helpless Congolese but flogging them to death, starving them into forced labour, holding children ransom and burning villages, as a punishment for those who failed to meet the rubber quotas set by the Belgian officers.

The disturbing part of this story is after  the death of Leopold II, his successors (The Belgian Royal Family) never took his crimes into account. Instead, he was hailed as a hero, naming of streets after him and building of his statue. That’s where the Royal Family went wrong because the dead can’t be mocked. There are many restless souls haunting people in their homes. There are houses people can’t stay inside, all because of the horrible circumstances those people were murdered.

PICA 4The lunatic Leopold II hailed a hero after his horrible crimes in Africa.

This terrible mistake has cast a gloomy shadow on Belgium’s Royal Family, portraying them as evil people in the society today, despite their national duties, charitable service and their selfless help for the poor and  the sick. Yes, sometimes you can do good things in the society, but when the evil seed you’ve sown grows, it covers up all the good work you’ve done. The Royal Family may think they are the most adorable family in the world, yet they have millions, not thousands of enemies across the world for supporting crime.

Slavery was abolished in America in 1865, the Berlin wall came tumbling down in 1989, while Apartheid bowed to democracy in 1994, yet the Leopold’s statue which is not only degrading Africans but also the Belgium’s Royal Family is still standing on its feet. There is time for everything. A time of sadness, a time of happiness, a time to sow, a time to reap, a time of birth, a time to die. It’s now time for Leopold’s statue to come down if the Royal Family really respect themselves.

The Spectrum Of Business In Africa Through E-Commerce

Commerce 3

Small scale and large scale entrepreneurs have taken the advantage of the effectiveness of the media and technology, including e-commerce to promote and market products, reaching every corner of the globe without fatigue. What is e-commerce and how has it been beneficial to entrepreneurs?

Assuming you live in Asia, Europe or America, would you like to travel thousands of kilometers for a product you want desperately in South Africa? Taking such a journey is not only waste of time but also money. Remember time is money. Through the birth of modern technology, e-commerce acts as a facilitator in getting your message to the manufacturer to send the consumer whatever he is looking for online.

Thus; E-commerce is online shopping making it easier for consumers to purchase products via the internet from manufacturers. E-commence enhances business to reach beyond consumer base and access global markets like never before. Last year, November 18, delegates at the ‘Sixth Annual European Conference highlighted on the effect and impact of in E-commerce generally in Europe.

The European E-Commerce sector is said to worth an estimated 350 billion Euros and it is predicted to create 1.5 million jobs in Europe by 2018.  The writer takes a look at the impact and benefit of e-commerce in Africa’s business. The effect of E-commerce business in the African continent is enormous, changing the face of the traditional consumer.

Internet trade has made it easier for African entrepreneurs to search for quality products online, compare prices and purchased products. According to research by Google South Africa, there was an increase of 49% in query volumes in Nigeria, 37% in South Africa and 33% in Kenya, during 2014.  E-commerce hasn’t been beneficial only to African entrepreneurs, consumers and manufacturers, but also attracted widely investment opportunities alike.

Some of the African countries with booming E-commerce markets, transforming the economic landscape are Senegal, Morocco, Mozambique, Ghana, South Africa, Nigeria, Egypt, Tanzania, Cameroun, and Kenya. At the epicenter of Africa’s thriving economy and business, E-commerce has driven hundreds of businessmen to success, in different fields, especially the mobile telephone industry.   In the year 2010 alone, the Ghanaian government made GHC598 million in taxes and levies, representing 10% of government income for that year.

The secret to every successful business depends on the variety and quality of the products. E-commerce holds a ray of hope for African entrepreneurs and small scale business. It seems after gaining the political independence; Africa folded its arms, waiting for a miracle to come from heaven. God helps those who help themselves, now Africa is gradually emerging from the realms of poverty through the eye of E-commerce.

The Flood Of False Prophets And Pastors In Africa

Pray 6Poor Africans have to sacrifice to get fake pastors riding in expensive cars.

When Jesus Christ foretold the major trends that would precede His return to earth, the first sign He mentioned was religious imposters who would come in His name. How serious do people take that warning?

Africa at the moment is experiencing a chain of mushroom pastors. Small churches are springing up everywhere, including classrooms, small sheds or someone’s veranda. Poverty and lack of education have forced a lot of people to become pastors in Africa, going after money and neglecting the duties of a true pastor.

To be a pastor one needs to study at a religious institution, learn the scriptures thoroughly, follow theological training and complete seminary courses.  After studying, he is then ordained as a pastor, but in Africa, the story is different. Only few that have absolute confidence in faith take the challenge to go to school.

To many being a pastor is the easiest profession, after dropping out of school. You can often see them at public places and in buses, preaching to people and passengers. Well, I don’t think it’s wrong to preach, after all Jesus told his disciples “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” but the fact that many used God’s name to commit crime is very disturbing.

What kind of a pastor would tell a woman to be naked before prayers, to receive the Holy Spirit? What kind of pastor would tell his female congregation not put on pants, so that the air could circulate on every part of the body? What kind of a pastor tells a woman he could make her pregnant if her husband has failed? What kind of pastor would perform such deeds and call himself a genuine pastor?

“Stealing in the name of the Lord, my father’s house of worship has become a den of thieves, stealing in the name of the Lord. This reminds me of a song by Jamaican Reggae star, Max Romeo. The so-called pastors neglect the real duties of a pastor and continuously deceive people, often using this Biblical quotation: “Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.” Ecclesiastes 11.

Without knowing where they went for their powers, some African pastors practiced witchcraft, used marine spirits and magical powers to baffle people, allowing them to gain a number of followers. The poor people with diverse problems start following these fake pastors, giving them all their money and properties, while in misery and poverty.

They claim can cure impotency, make a childless woman fertile and cure diseases including Aids. The activities of false pastors in Kenya forced the country’s attorney general to ban new religious organizations from registering. The sharp increase of fake pastors is tearing African societies apart. Badly affected countries are Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa etc.

The problem in African countries is, there is no law which stops a man from practicing his faith, thus; the activities of fake pastors in Africa can’t be stopped since the leaders are just corrupt like the pastors. But we will continue to remind and warn them with the words of the great teacher.

Jesus said “For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.” 2 Corinthians 11:13.

A hilarious video mocking fake pastors in Africa.

Why America Killed Ghaddafi And Saddam Hussein?

SaddamFormer Iraqi and Libyan leaders: Saddam Hussein and Muammar Ghaddafi

By Joel Savage and Johan Van Dongen

Everyone fears something in this world. Many white people claim blacks are criminals, the reason they fear them. That’s not true, after all there are also White criminals. In Belgium for the past fifteen years, I quickly realized Belgians try to keep away from Black people, not because they are criminals, but scared that the Black man will let them pay for the horrible crimes they committed against them in Africa.

Africa is a big continent with diverse people and languages. Even though they lack powerful and sophisticated weapons to defend themselves in time of war, in terms of its size, Europe and America fear the African continent more than anything on earth. Even in Europe, many Europeans fear the presence of black people, especially when speaking a language they don’t understand.

Africans were living in that remote deadly continent for ages, before the first White missionaries ever set their feet and the vaccine for malaria was found. After many Europeans died of malaria, hence the ‘The White Man’s Grave’ was given as Africa’s second name. Their next goal was to find out how Africans were able to survive on that harsh tough continent.

Europeans were not happy over the way Africans were stronger than them. Instead of learning how they survive on that harsh continent, they decided to invade it, loot the continent, capture the people into slavery and depopulate it with deadly diseases including Aids, Ebola, Lassa fever, Ziga virus and other deadly diseases.

That wasn’t enough for Europe and America. They made sure to kill every powerful African leader that poses a threat to them. In South Africa Steve Biko was brutally murdered. After Kwame Nkrumah survived coup attempts, including the Kulungugu bomb in the Northern region of Ghana, in another coup orchestrated by the CIA, Nkrumah was overthrown-ed and died in exile. Another powerful African leader is off the list of America.

Libyan leader Muammar Ghaddafi

The next powerful African head of state Europe and America targeted was Patrice Lumumba of Congo. Belgium couldn’t stand the pain, when the country attained its independence, despite all the riches stolen from the country. In a coup master-minded by Europe and America, Lumumba was brutally murdered by Belgium. Belgium has since apologized for this horrible crime they committed, but Africans can forgive but they can’t forget.

After those two powerful great African leaders, no African head of state posed a threat to Europe and America, more than Libyan leader Muammar Ghaddafi. The oil rich country leader was strong, stubborn and had no respect for America and Europe. He usually called them ‘Dogs, uncircumcised or infidels.’

The hatred of Ghaddafi towards Europe and America was so intense that he started to wage war of terror and sponsoring terrorism against them. Ronald Reagan knew the only way calm down Ghaddafi was to be assassinated. Under operation code-named ‘Operation El Dorado Canyon, United States attacked Libya on Tuesday, 15 April 1986. The attack was carried out by the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps via air strikes, in response to the 1986 in Berlin discotheque bombing.

There were 40 reported Libyan casualties, and one US plane was shot down, resulting in the death of two airmen, but Ghaddafi survived the attack. Ghaddafi denied terrorism actions against Europe and America, but he couldn’t continue denying over his involvement in the bombing of flight Pan Am 103 which killed 270 passengers, crew and townspeople over and in the Scottish town of Lockerbie in December 1988, because two Libyans were identified as official suspects.

Even though Libya compensated the victims of the Lockerbie bombing by handing $1.5bn to the families of those killed on the Pan Am flight, his presence as a powerful leader in Africa , gave Europe and America sleepless nights. Whatever events which led to the capture and assassination of the leader on October 20, 2011, leading to his death, were plans orchestrated by Europe and America. Now that Libya is in ruins and powerless, Europe and America can now sleep very well. Why should the mouse get worried when the cat is trapped high on the tree?
Saddam Hussein: The Iraqi leader with iron fist
Saddam Hussein believed to be a successful leader, the needs to be ruthless, merciless, wicked and unfriendly with Europe and America are necessary. In fact, he was one of the evil men in political history followed by Idi Amin of Uganda. Holding on to power for 30 years, Saddam launched two attacks on the neighboring states of Iran and Kuwait.
Was Saddam once America’s best friend? The United States once supported Saddam, in curbing the export of a radical theocratic revolution, cooperated with the Iraqi government by supplying Saddam with economic assistance, weapon sales, the assistance of the US naval battle group, and satellite and other intelligence information in regard to the placement of Iranian troops.

This favour came back haunting America. It was no surprise that President Bush used the excuse that Saddam was habouring weapons of mass destruction to invade the country. “The dictator who is assembling the world’s most dangerous weapons has already used them on whole villages, leaving thousands of his own citizens dead, blind or disfigured,” said George Bush.

The accusation that Iraq has used chemical weapons against its citizens is a familiar part of the debate. The piece of hard evidence most frequently brought up concerns the gassing of Iraqi Kurds at the town of Halabja in March 1988, near the end of the eight-year Iran-Iraq war. President Bush himself has cited Iraq’s “gassing its own people,” specifically at Halabja, as a reason to topple Saddam Hussein.

But the truth is, all we know for certain is that Kurds were bombarded with poison gas that day at Halabja. We cannot say with any certainty that Iraqi chemical weapons killed the Kurds. This is not the only distortion in the Halabja story.

Saddam Hussein was eventually toppled and executed, but no weapons of mass destruction were found in Iraq, making George Bush one of the greatest liars in America’s political history. Everything is completely wrong in America yesterday and today, as they keep on showing their prowess through the destruction of other people.

Why America is now using Genetically Modified Mosquitoes Spreading Zika Virus As Bio-warfare?

It will be recalled that on September 18, 2014, Guinean government officials visited the village of Womme in the country’s southeast, they planned to educate people about Ebola and show them how to avoid it — in a region where many still believe the virus doesn’t exist. But it all went disastrously wrong. Villagers responded furiously, pelting the delegation with stones and beating the visitors with clubs, according to Guinean radio.

The delegation, which included doctors and journalists, fled into the bush after the attack Tuesday. The Guinean government said Thursday that eight delegation members had been killed, including several journalists, news agencies reported. There also were reports that 21 people had been injured.

“It’s very sad and hard to believe, but they were killed in cold blood by the villagers,” government spokesman Albert Damantang Camara said, according to Agence France-Presse. A local police officer, Richard Haba, said the villagers believed that Ebola “is nothing more than an invention of white people to kill black people.”

EUROPE AND AMERICA ARE NOW AWARE THAT AFRICANS KNOW AIDS, EBOLA AND LASSA FEVER ETC; WERE MEDICAL CRIMES AGAINST THE CONTINENT

Since after this deadly incidence in Guinea, Europe and America are very cautious and aren’t prepared to lose any of their nationals from the health sector on African soil, so they planned a new strategy to inflict pain and destruction by testing the created bio-weapons on poor people, hence the genetically modified mosquitoes now spreading Zika virus through out Latin-America.

Yes! America want to prove that if the medical crime can’t be done by touching down in countries or where ever they wanted, it can be done as bio-weapon through the air, but let us just wait and see, because what’s coming tomorrow is hidden from the wise and the prudent.

Once Born Black, You Have An Extra Mountain To Climb

slavery

There is no easy walk to freedom, the great Mandela could tell you the truth. He knew the rough road ahead of him was tough as a black man. He was denied his family, friends, wife, books and after 27 years in a notorious prison, he became the head of state of the country he fought for all his life.

African-Americans didn’t call for slavery. They were stolen from Africa, dragged in chains and loaded onto slave ships, under terrific sub-human conditions. Traded and profited, they worked from morning till evening on plantations and used to build America with sweat, blood and tears.

It’s unfortunate that after all these years, relationship between African-Americans and White Americans in many states in America is very poor. If there is any blame, it should be on the greedy and merciless slave masters but not the blacks in America.

Slavery is abolished, Apartheid bowed to democracy in South Africa, but racism still exists. Why? That can’t be. The world needs peace, love and the only way to achieve this is to love your brother as thy self and to let the dream of Martin Luther King Jr. stay alive.

Campaign Art: Every Day, 500 Kids Don’t Make It. But You Can Save Them

LUCPeople, Spaces, Deliberation bloggers present exceptional campaign art from all over the world. These examples are meant to inspire.

According to World Health Organization figures, 500 children are killed each day in road crashes globally.  In fact, road traffic injury ranks among the top four causes of death for all children over the age of five years.  To raise awareness of this deadly reality, Jean Todt, President of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), the international motoring federation, and Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General for Road Safety, turned to world renowned film director Luc Besson to deliver a potent message: children face incredible danger when crossing the road!

‘Save Kids Lives’, shows children in the townships of South Africa and in central Paris, France walking to and from school to show that the risks children face are almost universally shared, whether they are due to a lack of safe infrastructure or as a result of heavy traffic. The film is shocking, and may contain images some people find disturbing. But that’s exactly the point, according to Todt, who believes that it will help focus attention on making roads safe for children everywhere.

The film was launched the first week in October to coincide with International Walk to School Day and to support#SaveKidsLives, a UN initiative that calls for action to stop the growing number of road deaths worldwide and for decision makers to prioritize children’s safety.

The Development Of Africa And Asia Through The Lenses Of Technology And Communication

ICT 3Modern technology, through communication and internet have influenced and enhanced Africa’s development, in a way that lives of many throughout the continent have significantly improved. The demand of ICT companies in Africa, have created fast growing mobile and internet markets providing employment to thousands of people.

A country without technology economy can never grow. It is therefore the effort of every government in Africa to invest into ICT facilities to sustain the economy. Technology is therefore essential and important establishing sustainable startup companies and firms in Africa. Today, several major technology trends are shaping the lives of Africans and the economies, with many formidable mobile companies, with communication tools such as the internet and telephone enabling quick access to every part of the world.

Let’s have a glance at the effect of ICT trends in Ghana, choosing MTN as an example. Officially launched in 1994, MTN Group is a multinational telecommunications group, operating in 21 countries throughout Africa, Asia and the Middle East. The MTN Group is listed on the JSE Securities Exchange in South Africa under the share code: “MTN” Detailed Report Data for 30 September 2010, MTN recorded 134,4 million subscribers across its operations in Afghanistan, Benin, Botswana, Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, Cyprus, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Guinea Republic, Iran, Liberia, Nigeria, Republic of Congo (Congo Brazzaville), Rwanda, South Africa, Sudan, Swaziland, Syria, Uganda, Yemen and Zambia.

MTN MobileMoney,  a service which allows users to perform micro-financing and transfer money from their mobile device, has been adopted across the continent. The basic satisfaction behind this is the answer to customers’ dream of enjoying basic financial services on their mobile phones everywhere they go in Ghana and above all one doesn’t need a bank account to cash his or her money. This service provided by MTN in partnership with banks is also available on the internet. MTN MobileMoney service is recommended to be secure, simple, fast and convenient solution for money transfer and other transactions including reloading of MTN airtime units.

Let’s have a quick glance at India. What is a successful strategic technology? That is an existing technology that has matured, which is the case of India.  The country has become an IT brand among the global countries over the years, with strong policies base in education, well-established telecommunication & infrastructure facilities and favourable market conditions that prevail. Many Indian cities are now holding prominent places in the global IT map. Now India stands out as one of the biggest and fastest growing economies in the world.

The country’s matured technology offers an opportunity for strategic business advantage, continuing expansion in foreign firms owned establishments in India, with its emergence as favorite sector for local Indian investors and talented entrepreneurs. Yet Indian IT industry is still only in its very early stages of development both internationally and domestically and has strong growth potential.

The industry growing at 40 percent per annum between 1994 and 1999, with software exports alone more than 50 percent, earned revenue growth IT industry from $1 billion in 1990 to $8 billion in 2000, envisioned to reach $100 billion in 2008.

“While predicting the future is hard to do, it’s indubitable that the Internet and mobile technology will improve the lives of many Africans in the years to come,” said tech expert Rudy de Waele, who assists global brands and companies with cutting edge open innovation strategy on how to mobilize their business and products through projects, research, strategy, presentations, workshops and brainstorms.

ICT developed and developing continents, such as Africa and Asia hold its own communications future, as talent shines through and the continent becomes leading innovator, manufacturer and exporter throughout the continents and of the rest of the world.
