Multinational Corporations And Corrupt African Leadership

Corruption 6When a government in Africa is corrupt, there are also some MNCs and their shareholders who stand behind this government and push it to become more corrupt. Whenever a government becomes autocratic denying its citizens freedoms and rights, there are MNCs behind providing weapons to exact violence against its people.

Whenever there is a corrupt politician in Africa stealing money meant for schools, hospitals, roads, and delivery of safe water and sanitation you have a big MNC bank assisting in the transfer of the money to safe haven destinations.

This cosy relationship between the political and business elite in Africa and MNCs in Europe and North America does not only affect governance but it is one of the main reasons why economic underachievement, poverty, hunger and instability permeate almost all African countries.

The parasites who parade themselves  as leaders of the continent have for over the years colluded and connived with MNC vampires who since the days of slavery have been the main instrument used by western countries to strip Africa of its rich resources and to keep its inhabitants desperately poor.

Global Witness has produced documents that have implicated American, Belgian, British, French, German, Japanese and Chinese firms and business entities. The dirty tactics employed by western governments, the MNCs, World Bank, IMF, WTO are responsible for the demise of the African continent. Western countries led by the US, Britain, France and lately by China, continue to sell weapons to horrible dictators to crash democratic forces throughout the continent.

They continued to finance brutal wars  in Africa ( Libya, Somalia, Ivory Coast, DRC) with the aim of keeping Africa destabilized while their corporations steal the natural resources such as  oil, gas, gold and other precious metals complicit with western media.

In a similar vein Global Financial Integrity has demonstrated how western MNCs working in Africa used fraud accounting, tax evasion and other financial malpractices to cheat Africans of the billions of dollars that could be used to develop the continent. IMF and World Bank on their part are in cahoots with MNCs and western creditors to sell their toxic economic policies and poisonous, heavily laden conditional loans to African countries that keep them in odious debts that they spend so much of their GDP in servicing them to the neglect of the human security needs of their people.

Switzerland, hiding behind her discredited illegal financial and banking secrecy laws and infrastructure, continues to play host to more tan $150 billion that is siphoned off from the continent annually by the political and business leaders.

Can Home Cooking Build A Happy Marriage?

Cooking 4

Falling in love is a wonderful and magical experience between two people. The chemistry is strange and sometimes very complicated. The experience differs in many ways but the commonest are happiness, restlessness and strong emotions. However; falling in love doesn’t always guarantee a successful marriage or living together. Frankly speaking, according to statistics many are getting divorce more than getting together.

To build and support successful marriage or relationships, many partners read books written as a guide to happy marriage. Despite hundreds of books counseling couples, lovers are constantly in pain, emotionally and psychologically, affected by painful love affairs. The causes of divorces or separations vary, lack of attention, sex, cheating, quarrels, financial matters and others. However; few things many never thought of as destroyer of marriages is the lack of cooking at home and lack of prevention of early sex in teenage relationship.

Many couples friendship began at school as teenagers before they settled. In principle, it is always good for people to study and know each other very well, before entering into relations or love affairs. But on moral issues entering into relationships as teenagers isn’t a wise thing to do. Children as young as thirteen and fourteen indulged in caressing and kissing. This is seen as normal in advanced countries but in Africa, it is not permitted.

Most of these early relationships end up in separate ways or settling together. When they finally get married, the love isn’t strong as before. That’s where the problems begin. In this case, the marriage doesn’t go far. Why? The reason is simple and logical. Both have seen their nakedness too much as teenagers to the extent that they no longer value their precious bodies as adults. No happiness and the essence of enjoying a happy relationship is completely ruined.

Here the dignity and the worthiness of the woman have been neglected and abused by the man. It is always the man that causes the breakup because he wants something new. Many start to cheat and stayed late at work in illicit love affairs. A woman or man may find the real happiness in life, marriage, living together or in relationships, when they enter into love affairs as adults than as teenagers.

Any man or woman who doesn’t know how to cook before getting into a relationship or marriage may not fully enjoy the relationship. There is always a guarantee for a happy marriage when one of the partners knows how to cook but if both can’t cook means the marriage have a bleak future. Imagine a family depending always on fast food or tin foods. How would a husband feel after a day’s hard work, comes home to sit behind the dining table and be served with can spaghetti, with that marshy tomato sauce? Many enjoy that but that’s health hazard.

A man facing such situation may never be happy. Some may speak against it but many hide the way they feel when upset. Since he can’t live with that any longer he starts to seek his interest in other places. That’s where the cheating starts. If the one he is seeing can’t provide him those delicious meals he is missing from his previous partner, the relationship automatically comes to an end.

It is therefore very essential for both men and women to learn or know how to cook before getting into a relationship or marriage. Getting familiar with cooking isn’t a difficult issue. There are thousands of books and adult schools for cooking. Time factor is always an issue. Many may not have the time to go to a cooking school after work. Here a cooking book is very useful.

Just follow the instructions on how to cook and next thing is the delicious meal on the dining table. You may not be perfect at your first attempt but remember practice makes man perfect. Besides, cultivating the habit of cooking at home saves a lot of money. I am happily married for the past twenty years. When my wife is busy at work, I do the cooking for the children. This is the only way to share the secrets of why our marriage is stronger than ever. I am a very good cook apart from my writing career.

Culture: White People Learning What It Takes To Be An African

Africa

Did curiosity really kill the cat? Why so many white people now interested in the diversity of culture, leading them to Africa, the continent the Western and American media never write anything good about, than Aids, Ebola, war, famine, and crime?

The media plays an important role in the society; unfortunately many don’t see it in that way, because of the type of news they disseminate to the public. I was quite impressed and amazed when I met a white man telling me about his visit to Sierra Leone and Ghana. The fact that he could even speak some of the languages inspired me to find out his reasons for leaving his continent of luxury, to a strange hard living continent like Africa.

“If a white man comes to live in Africa for six months or a year, the Western media hails him  brave and adventurous, with publication appearing in the newspapers, but the same places I visited are where Africans have lived from generation to generation but the media fails to praise them on the same issue,” said the white man. He is right. There is crime everywhere in the world, especially Italy, Britain, Columbia, Brazil, and America, but the media has made South Africa the most dangerous country on earth.

Every year thousands of Europeans travel to Africa, just because they want to know how Africans live, despite the lack of electricity in many villages, medical facilities, water shortage and poor sanitation. It is amazing to see many white people on African streets, with families interacting and learning many things including how to make African meals. Surprisingly some participate in cultural and festival activities dressed in African fashions, especially in Kente cloth.

Despite the lack of teachers and poor educational facilities, an African child can be able to tell one geographically, the capital city of every country in the world, yet ask a white child of the same age, the capital city of Ghana, Sierra Leone, South Africa or any African country. He will tell you “I don’t know,” with quick remarks “Africa is poor,” because that’s all that his geography teacher has taught him.

I am hundred percent sure that if African and European children meet in a quiz competition, the African children would win because they know much about Europe and America than what European and American children know about Africa. This is not an exaggeration but facts based on research I did. Imagine an African student of fourteen in a Belgium school, who doesn’t even know who Patrice Lumumba was, even though her parents come from Congo. This is a tragedy, not sadness. I didn’t blame her because teachers have failed to teach European students enough about Africa.

I wish exchange of program in education and on moral issues, would take some European children to Africa, to learn the reason why despite immense poverty in many parts of Africa, students don’t smoke, commit suicide, no teenage pregnancy, no shooting, stabbing and above all the reason why respect exists in African schools than any school in Europe and America.

Belgium Journalists: What Do They Write About?

No discipline in Belgium schools

Sven Gatz: Flemish minister for culture, Media, and youth. He has a big responsibility to instill discipline in schools

In the publishing industry, there was a time the cover of a book doesn’t matter to readers, because many agree that the content or subject of the book gives the book recognition, makes it famous or masterpiece among titles. Then suddenly everything changed. Now hundreds of readers choose their books wisely because attractive covers.

Thus; if you are a journalist and you think because you’re holding Bachelor of Arts, Masters’ Degree or whatever qualification in journalism, those qualifications, will earn you the respect you are looking for, then I’m sorry, you are in a dream land or you’re likely lost in the desert.

In this modern era that journalism or the media plays a very important role in the society, the impact of your work, articles and your daily contribution to society, are what is necessary, but not one’s qualification. Because many have those qualifications but have no experience. Give them a pen to write something essential, you will be disappointed.

As one takes a wider view on things happening in our society today, the need to ask what’s role is the media playing to make things better in our decaying society is necessary. Go to schools, you will be astonished to see the lack of discipline that has taken over. Students don’t respect teachers and say bad things to them. In the toilets, students urinate indiscriminately on the ground, because they enjoy  cleaners cleaning their mess.

Young children, as young as twelve and thirteen are smoking. Many are dropping out of school because of teenage pregnancy and juvenile crime, while a lot of children are committing suicide every day. Even though there are thousands of journalists in Belgium, it’s rare to read articles from journalists, suggesting solutions to such disturbing issues or how to arrest the situation.

When you buy any Belgium newspaper, what one reads is politics and articles about immorality. Nothing significant or educating to read. It’s sad, yet they think they are on top of the world. What Belgium journalists fear most is to write the truth about Aids and Ebola, because their country took part in the medical crime against Africa.

Efficient journalism means accuracy, fairness, compelling, presentation, timeliness and relevance. It’s hard to find these qualities in Belgium journalists. They can’t even differentiate evil from good. They have proved it. None of their journalists is brave enough to demand the removal of the statue of the murderer King Leopold II, for killing over ten million Africans, including children, when there is no statue of Adolf Hitler for killing six million Jews.

Those days that European journalists want to prove to Africa that they are the most intelligent people on earth are gone. Now that we know, we shall continue to reveal their weaknesses, incompetency and their cowardly acts to the world. Out of the blue, a Belgian journalist followed me on Twitter. He suffered attacks  from other journalists and the following day, he unfollowed. Today, one of my respected followers is Queen Mathilde of Belgium, because she is a truthful and sincere woman.

10 Reasons Racism Has Never Been An Issue Of Concern To Me

All we need is love

Love conquers everything, so that’s what we need for a healthy society.

Racism is the belief that a particular race is superior or inferior to another, that a person’s social and moral traits are predetermined by his or her inborn biological characteristics. Racial separatism is the belief, most of the time based on racism, that different races should remain segregated and apart from one another.

This evil ideology or belief has caused bloodshed, unrest, and death in our society and still continue to tear our society apart today. Churches and organizations continue to discourage racism and strengthen relationships without success. In the world of racism, the Black man is the one that suffers most and being discriminated against, yet no one wants to be called a racist. Below are ten reasons I don’t care much about racism, even though I feel sorry for victims of racism.

  1. Racism is a chronic incurable disease, which can’t be cured or eliminated but can be reduced.
  2. Tribalism is a form of racism in Africa, the reason in Nigeria, the Yoruba hates the Ebo.
  3. In Ghana, the Gas hates the Fantes.
  4. In Sierra Leone, the Mende hates the Temni.
  5. In America, African-Americans draw guns at each other, killing and slashing their own brothers’ throat.  Why do they complain about racism, when they hate themselves?
  6. Head of churches and government officials secretly support racism.
  7. In Rwanda, the Hutu hates Tutsi.
  8. The black man has completely lost his identity through slavery. That identity can never be recovered.
  9. Many African-Americans have neglected Africa and even hate to be referred to as Africans. Being proud of where they came from and showing love, will give them the love and respect they deserve. Above all, there are black racists too.
  10. Children are not born racists. Adults continue to teach them at home and in schools, so racism will never come to an end.

Taking the above reasons into consideration, it is a total waste of time to spend hours worrying about racism or an incurable disease. I think this is the reason Sebb Blatter said, racism in football should be ignored and settled with a handshake.
