How To Be A Celebrity When You Are Not: Your Personal Appearance Influence How Others View You

Dressed 3

Just as homes have straight forward stories to tell about people’s behavior and the sort of environment they grew up, the same way our personal appearance says much about us. In the first place, why is it necessary to be clean, neat and be modest in clothing? Being naturally clean person and hygienic conscious conclude that you have self-respect.

There are certain important things we need to do daily in our lives that can’t be ignored. Even though due to poverty, health and other life problems, many have lost the control and ability to take proper care of themselves. It is very common and part of our everyday life to see ladies and gentlemen in town and offices, but they dress very shabby. Some of the dressings are so bad that you may wonder if they have mirrors at home.

Others put on the most magnificent perfume to add program to their personalities, but by chance if some of these glamorous workers invite you to their homes, you may not like to go to the house again if given second invitation, because of the the poor organization and filth in the house.

If you take a wider view of things, you can discover that dating and friendships seem to be disappointments. Many are hurt or recovering from love affair disasters. Why must my date end in this way? This is one of the questions that usually follow. Many times it may be differences of opinions, careers and misunderstandings but at times it may turn out to be that the partners don’t like something about each other, especially about his or her home, body or clothes.

Keeping the body clean and modestly dressed are very important. One that works at the office’ clothes shouldn’t be the same like a clown who entertains at the circus. Have you ever heard someone telling another person “Repair your shoes, for they talk about you?” If the heels of your shoes are completely worn out, every step you make attracts people to look at you, because the rhythm of the footsteps is unusual. Imagine if you haven’t polished your shoes over a year, how will they look like?

Cleanliness is next to Godliness they say, apart from good health and the creation of healthy environment, good personal appearance attracts people to view you as outstanding among others. The good news is you look like a celebrity in the eyes of onlookers but the bad news is you may get many date invitations, which you may not feel comfortable with it, because your heart belongs to only one person. However, count yourself a lucky person when you attract than repel.

Giving Children A Promising And Better Life

StreetA suffering street-child

The global economic recession and poverty, which have affected Third World countries most, have resulted in the rampant abandoning of babies in gutters, pit latrines, bushes and remote places. Many mothers are giving up their babies for adoption. Some end up selling their babies or deliberately kill them. This inhuman act shows that some children are born into incapable hands.

If one does not really need a child, why should parents bring them into the world to suffer? Training and caring for children, in terms of feeding, clothing, education and health have never been a simple task. It is better for parents to prevent an unwanted pregnancy than to give birth to a child to become a menace to society.

An Eastern University in America conducted a study on the impact made on children by various forces in the society. The study revealed that 31 percent of the influence on a child was attributed to his years, 16 percent came from his school and other organizations. While 53 percent of the impact on his life came from his home.
The duty of bringing up a child is surely the toughest task in the world and quite frankly, it takes knowledge and wisdom to raise up a child. The inability of parents to take proper care of their children have caused many children roaming the streets, especially in Asia, Africa, and South America.
The neglected children sometimes grow up to be juvenile criminals and delinquents. Each year, estimated one million children are abused in America. The suicide rate for 15 to 24, over the past twenty years has increased. Poverty is actually the main problem facing parents in Third World Countries, keeping children from the classroom.

Parents who did not get the opportunity to be educated, may feel education is a waste of time, and therefore the child should be engaged in parents trade. In India, hundreds of children are said to be under bondage, working as slaves to defray the debts of their parents. Under some hardships, children are even forced to sell part of their body parts, such as kidney, to raise money for their parents.

In Brazil, children are sprayed by bullets, for the government to collect the bodies from the streets, as a measure to prevent street child explosion. Is this the best solution to prevent street children? When children are thought how to read from the initial stages, they become interested in books. However poor a child’s reading ability is, his interest in reading would improve his knowledge.

Things go wrong for children these days like people don’t know their value in this world. Many organizations are all over Africa to improve children’s education, but the harvest is plentiful, while the labourers are few. It’s an enormous task. Education for children is not a choice, it’s their right and the only way to give these children a better future is through education.

San Jose artist Leah Jay has created a beautiful book called “Amphibian Love”, filled with dazzling nature art to help endangered animals. Amphibians are vital to the earth’s ecosystems, and their loss is an indication of the worldwide trend in decreasing biodiversity – the “Sixth Extinction”.

Leah’s hardbound book features detailed watercolor and chalk pastel illustrations of various species frogs, toads, salamanders, and newts. The rhyming text within the illustrations makes each piece attractive and educational. This book will be a great resource for young readers to interest them in these fascinating animals and makes an excellent addition to anybody’s coffee table!

The Amphibian Love book campaign page is active through the month of April, with a book pre-order option of $35, and other art-based incentives including the original paintings. The April campaign coincides with Earth Day, 4/22, and International Save The Frogs Day , 4/25

The Psychology Of Selling

Double and triple your sales—in any market.

The purpose of this book is to give you a series of ideas, methods, strategies, and techniques that you can use immediately to make more sales, faster and easier than ever before.

Psychology

It’s a promise of prosperity that sales guru Brian Tracy has seen fulfilled again and again. More sales people have become millionaires as a result of listening to and applying his ideas than from any other sales training process ever developed.

Book Review By Tony DeFrancisco
I have to admit, that when it comes to sales training, my personal favorite is Tom Hopkins with Brian Tracy right behind. Why listen to both? Because I have always believed that you should get training from various qualified sources. Another one of my favorite trainers is James E. Rohn. Mr. Rohn advises to get advice from as many people as possible. When it comes to selling, I am looking for maximum effectiveness.
Tracy and Hopkins have walked the walk, have both set sales records along with being great trainers.Tracy is more into the consultative approach although he uses some of the tried and proven closing techniques that sales professionals use. What impressed me about Tracy is that he speaks from experience having been selling since he was ten years old. He has taught more than 500,000 students in over 500 companies.
Like Tom Hopkins, he has walked the walk, talks the talk and is one great trainer as well.Using the combined advice of Tom Hopkins and Brian Tracy I was able to reach my monthly goal at my last job in only three days. The first time I used these techniques I moved from next to last place out of 71 sales reps to 3rd out of 75 reps in only one month. This stuff works. Right now I am using Brian’s strategies in my network marketing company. They work very well.
That said, being familiar with Tracy in particular his tape series The Psychology of Selling, I was expecting much more in this book than what is offered. By contrast, Advanced Selling strategies which Tracy wrote over ten years ago was a huge book, packed with information and had more than enough meat.Nonethless, The Psychology of Selling is a good book, a great primer for new sales people and a great refresher for experienced sales people as well. If you buy this, you will want to add the tape program as well or Advanced Selling Strategies.
