As a child growing up in a strongly religious family, I was thought that everything which is opposite to the teachings of the Holy Bible, including laziness is a sin. I tried my best to live a clean life. We were thought to believe that Israel, Jerusalem, and other Biblical countries were all in heaven, without a slight knowledge those countries were on the same earth we are living today.

When I left my family looking for a job, I tried to be sincere and prevented doing anything wrong which could land me in jail. I read that jail changes people’s attitude to be good or worse. But I wasn’t interested to know the positive or negative influences of jail on people. My only interest is never to be there because it’s not the right place for me.

In the year 1990, from Lagos, Nigeria, I made a transit in Rome, on my way to German. In Rome, I was detained at the Fiumicino airport. The Italian immigration regularly does that to many foreigners, especially Africans. Like a tourist, I walked around the airport lounge without a room to sleep and food for three days. On the third, I was really starving, so I approached one of the immigration officials and said to him that I am hungry. He looked at my face and asked me “Am I your father?” Then he walked away.

Without knowing what the officials have in store for me, I handed over an application for asylum as a journalist and it worked, because I have some few publications over my profession on me. On the fourth day, from nowhere came one of the immigration officers, he said to me: “Your application has been accepted, today the police will come to take you to Rome.” I was shocked beyond expression.

Rome, January 31, 1991 Ex Pastificio Pantanella occupied by hundreds of Asian immigrants from Pakistan and Bangladesh. The Police evacuate the Pantanella.

The good Samaritan didn’t only deliver the unexpected message, but he pulled out from his pocket a number of notes and said to me: “I don’t want my colleagues to see me giving you money, buy some food to eat at the airport.” I didn’t take the money. I told him: “This important information you have given to me has taken all the hunger away, thank you.” He walked away with his money.

On the fourth day, the police came, just as the officer told me and took me in a police car to the city, Rome, and left me there to fight for my survival. Without anywhere to sleep, I passed all my nights at the Central Train Station. Among other Africans, we watched a big television screen during the day to forget our misery, then in the night, I go to sleep at my hiding place. The police and the workers at the train station never discovered the place I slept.

After some time, I discovered places where I could eat every day without paying for food. I could take my bath and take some clothes. One of such places was at ‘Via Dandolo.’ Daniela, the head of the Caritas (Charity) at Via Dandolo, was a very good woman, but one of her female workers was a very bad woman. A thief. Since we had no address, our letters passed through the Caritas at Via Dandola and this woman took the opportunity to steal money from our letters.

I caught her twice, so I wasn’t surprised when I lost the 10 pounds a friend sent me from England, but I didn’t tell Daniela about it. Through the Caritas, I had my initial lessons and attended classes to learn the Italian. I was one of the best immigrants who could write and speak the language fluently, yet my life was miserable because I was still sleeping at the train station.

In Rome, I was robbed, admitted and operated at a hospital, but the nurse refused to touch me, because of my color, thus; every morning when on duty, she calls someone to attend to me, but she had time for every Italian patient at the hospital. I was once sitting in the hospital’s garden after the operation, when an Italian old man, one of the patients came close to me, looked at my face and said to me: “Marocchino motaccizoa.” – an insult, after mistakenly taken me as a Moroccan. I didn’t say a word.

Then all of a sudden, as if it was announced on the radio, all the immigrants in Rome, without accommodation, discovered an abandoned Pasta factory called ‘Pantanella.’ Pantanella is notoriously known for all criminal activities, including drug peddling and crime, similar to drug cartel zones of Mexico. One needs strength, courage, heart and braveness to survive at that place. Italians think they are brave, but many of them dare to pass Via Casilina, the street Pantanella is located in the night.

That was the place I lived and worked as a toilet cleaner for thousands of immigrants, using six containers as toilets, to raise money to feed. I was employed by the Muslim head at the place. It’s terrible and frightening to live at Pantenella. It wasn’t a prison, but the place, I think was tough like Alcatraz, because of the criminal activities many illegal immigrants engaged in feeding.

The abandoned factory accommodated both soft and hardened criminals from various countries, including Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Africa etc. I lived in Pantanella for four months, and the Italian government tired of the crimes going on in that abandoned Pasta factory ejected all the foreigners.

But the Italian government did something great for the African immigrants. Something we weren’t expecting. The government paid for two weeks stay in a hotel for all the Africans, with the ultimatum that before the two weeks expired, we should find a place on our own to live.

Through a very good sympathetic woman called Nana, (she died in Rome a few years ago) I got a job as a houseboy to serve one journalist called Claudio Lavazza, working at television station TG2, belonging to the former Italian Prime Minister, Sylvio Berlusconi. He provided me accommodation and paid me well. Besides, he gave me the new version of Fiat Cinque Cento (500) to drive. It may be likely that I was the first black man in the entire Italy to drive the new Fiat Cinque Cento when it freshly came out. I met other journalist friends of Claudio, including Michele Cucuzza.

After three years, I said goodbye to Rome and returned to Africa. I married and returned to Europe once again but this time choosing Amsterdam. ‘Overseas Chronicle: The Rome and Amsterdam Experience’ is a book once started you’ll find it hard to put away, because of the shocking intriguing stories in the book. Find out more of what happened to me in Rome and later in Holland, which led me to detention in Amsterdam.

Africa: Destroyed By The Gods

Ako 3My motivations for writing this book came from the pain I feel when I see the havoc foreign religions have wrought on Africa, especially in the last three decades. Traditionally, Africans are a deeply spiritual people. It is sad and painful to see how our deep spirituality was used to turn us into unthinking zombies.

It appears like the African elite, by which we mean the political as well as the spiritual elite, are in cahoots to keep the people in perpetual ignorance. Some ideals the European Missionaries preached, like “Love thy neighbour,” are not ideals they were prepared to abide by. They served to transform our conquerors into saviours to worship. Sadly, these are the same ideals our pastors today use to render us into unthinking masses of simpletons, so that they and the political elite can continue to loot our national resources.

By successfully turning themselves into ‘men-of-god,’ the priests transformed themselves into venerable agents of the creator, so it’d be sacrilegious to question or attack them. An important question we need to ask ourselves as Africans is what single benefit we have achieved with all the prayers, holy retreats and the burning of candles we have engaged in over the years. We also need to ask the pastors and the archbishops why they are not prepared to wait for their own paradise in afterlife.

Although we did not set out to write a comprehensive critique of the Christian religion, we show enough evidence to demonstrate that it was a religion deliberately founded on fraud. There are abundant historical records to show that the central figure of Christianity, Jeshua or Jesus, was a Roman invention; he never exist as a historical person. There is abundant evidence to show that the book the Christians called the Holy Bible were collections of ancient fables gathered by wandering habirus (Hebrews), and that they are not accurate historical narratives. Many of them were consciously forged stories.

The records are in the public domain to show that the books that made up the Bible were selected at the First Council of Nicaea, convened by one of the most murderous of Popes, Constantine, in AD 325. Also in the public records is how the King James Version of the Bible was put together at the urgings of one of the worst killers to grace the English throne, King James. My sadness at the havoc the Christian religion wrought compelled me to start writing about it.

I hope that my struggle will propel other honest Africans to begin to challenge the false preaching of the Christians and, hopefully, regain some of our African patrimony before they are totally destroyed by the lies the Christians peddle. We Africans need only to sit and do some thinking. If, as almost every scientist today knows, we are the first people on earth, how do we end up worshipping a Semite god? Another question we ought to ask ourselves is why is it that we are the only people that do not worship a god in our own image and in our own language? Apart from Africans, every society creates its own god in its own image.

This is not a complete evaluation of the Christian religion, but we provide enough materials for the honest investigator to search for and find the truth. We provide enough proof and suggestions to make the honest Africa do his own study, and discover that, contrary to what his pastor says, the Bible is not a correct historical document. On these pages, I set forth my views on the Christian religion. I urge that they be read in the same honest spirit they were written.

Incest: Can A Brother Marry His Own Sister?

Incest

Is incest is no more a taboo? Brothers marrying sisters is now becoming common

Superstition, beliefs and performing of rituals are associated with many tribes and ethnic groups, in different parts of the world. There are many things considered a taboo. For example, Saturday is Sabbath for the Jews. It is a day for religious services and abstinence from work. Clans, tribes and people carrying out traditional values, believe in punishment when the law is broken.

Something from ages people considered a taboo is an incest: Sexual intercourse between very closely related people. But as the generation advances some of these taboos are no longer taken into consideration. Son sleeps with his mother, a father has carnal knowledge with his daughter. The news is disturbing, but they are true.

Incest is a common issue these days, even though it is illegal or prohibited. There are many stories of accidental incest love affairs. For example, a Brazilian couple looking for their mothers who abandoned them when they were children, found out later that they were searching for the same person.

Leandro had no knowledge that she lives with her own sister, Adriana. They already had a six-year daughter in their seven- year common-law marriage. That’s accidental anyway, but it’s hard to believe that now a days, many young men can’t resist the nakedness of their own sisters, hmm!

A young man interviewed over his relation with his sister said “I don’t see anything wrong with this. People look at us like we are from a different planet. I love my sister and we have a baby now.” The question is, does incest poses any health hazard? The Holy Bible speaks against incest in many ways.

Also, social scientists believe that children from incestuous affairs have higher risks for hereditary disorders. Whatever people may view incest, we have to admit that we are now in a world, people will go to the extent of fulfilling their heart wishes and desires, without thinking of any future consequences.

That ‘golden box’ God gave a woman is the most powerful thing on earth, which can push a man to follow any direction without looking back. If you want to be sure of what I’m saying, ask former American president Bill Clinton, he will tell you more about Monica Lewinsky and ask golf superstar, Tiger Woods, he also has a story to share with  Joslyn James. The two great men lost focus and concentration because of the power of the ‘Golden Box.’

The Reason Man Can’t Rule This World

Who rules this world and why world peace so elusive? These are some of the questions on the lips of many without an answer. We have been deceived by man, through the greed of politics. Politicians want favor to rule the world, without opposition, therefore have come out with grave laws and rules, which have ruined our society and will continue to destroy without ceasing to fulfill the prophecies in the Holy Bible.

War 1

There will be war and rumors of war disturbing our peace everyday.

We have been deceived by Satan, in the likely of men, heading our institutions, that money is the only thing which could give us comfort and salvation, thus; the spiritual food man needs, to survive, temptation, suicide and depression, has been completely ignored and the greed for money has escalated violence and crime in today’s society.

If believing in God, can cost someone his job, means Satan rules this world and if a baker would lose her baker’s license, because she refuses to make cake for a gay couple, is evidence that Satan rules this world. 1John 5: 19 confirms in the Bible that the world is under the control of someone evil. This is not an exaggeration, because one doesn’t need to have vision or wisdom to see the destruction, carnage and suffering people are experiencing in the world today.

War 2

The devil will come down in the likely of man to kill Christians in the name of God, when it is written in the Bible, “For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.” Psalm 5:4.

The search for salvation, inner peace, and happiness have drifted many people from impending life turmoil to find happiness in God,  sadly, most of mankind have been misled into making the same bad choice, leading to depression, suicides and other problems. —Read Revelation 12:9. Politicians encourage and promote every evil in the society to gain favor to exercise power in politics, but at long run, the people that made bad choice suffer most.

The Reason Man Can’t Rule This World

Since memorial time, efforts by men, including world leaders to bring world peace, have failed and will continue to fail for several reasons:

Jeremiah 10:23 reads “It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step.” Humans weren’t created with the ability or the right to rule themselves, so they won’t be able to achieve enduring peace.

War 3

Women taking guns to fight for themselves, evidence of the rapid decay of our society.

Psalm 146:3-4, “Don’t put your trust in human leaders; no human being can save you. When they die, they return to the dust; on that day all their plans come to an end.” Good News Translation) Government leaders, even those with the best motives, can’t devise lasting solutions for the root causes of war.

2 Timothy 3:1-4, “In the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here, for men will be fierce, without love of goodness, betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride.”  We live in “the last days” of the present wicked world, a time when prevailing attitudes make peace difficult.

Revelation 12: 12, “Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time. The Devil, God’s enemy, has been confined to the vicinity of the earth and motivates people to adopt his vicious spirit. As long as he is “the ruler of this world,” we can never live in peace.—John 12:31.

Daniel 2:44, “[God’s Kingdom] will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms [that oppose God], and it itself will stand to times indefinite.”

Psalm 145:16, God’s Kingdom, not any human government, will satisfy our desire for permanent world peace.

Who will resolve man’s problems?

War 4

“God is watching you,” Pharmaceutical and medical crime against mankind, is a major threat to public health.

1 John 3:8. Will God allow Satan to continue his wicked rule? No! God will use Jesus to undo the evil that Satan has done.

Empowered by God, Jesus will destroy Satan. (Romans 16:20) Then, God will rule mankind and restore the human race to the life of happiness and peace he originally intended.—Read Revelation 21:3.

Avoid Being A Slave To Alcohol: There Is Someone Who Loves You

Depression, loneliness, bitter relationships and other chronic illnesses, gradually drift people to begin drinking. Many rely on alcohol when things are not going right, hoping they may forget over it for a while, but realizing that the drink isn’t helping, instead of giving up, they begin to  drink heavily, progressing from beer or wine to strong liquor.

Alcohol 2

The sad part of being alcoholic is being not aware of your changing moods, but quickly others see the change in your personality. Under heavy influence of alcohol, you may even stink when your nose can’t smell the odor. Drinking is a social problem which killing both teenagers and adults.

Every country is facing alcohol problem, but teenage drinking has increased rapidly in the UK. According to an UK health magazine, teenagers between 14 and 15 admitted of taking alcohol and alcohol abuse could be costing the National Health Service over £6 billion in medical bills.

Alcohol

Apart from alcohol related sicknesses, such as throat, liver stomach and breast cancer, alcohol kills prematurely, taking many to their early grave.  In 2011, there were 8748 alcohol related deaths in the UK, and between 2011 and 12, I.2 million people were admitted at the hospital over alcohol related problems.

For every long time the British government is fighting against alcoholism, inflating prices of alcohol to discourage buyers but without success. One of the laws on alcohol states, “If you are sixteen or seventeen, you cant buy a drink, but you can drink alcohol when accompanied by by adult.” I can’t believe a country fighting hard against alcohol can come out with ineffective law.

alcohol 4

If a sixteen or seventeen year old can’t buy a drink, the adult who accompanying the teenager will buy for him or her. Probably that’s the reason the country hasn’t been successful in taming its citizens against alcohol. When alcohol becomes your best friend, definitely it will destroy.  Perfect example of disastrous effect of alcohol on human is Paul Gascoigne’s story, a former England footballer, futilely continuously fighting against alcohol.

Overcoming addiction to alcohol is easier said than done. Depending on how long you’ve destroyed yourself one can be taken from the grip of alcohol. There are many resources, organizations, support and medication available, but it’s better to seek help earlier before alcohol begins taking its toll on you.

Many with diverse problems can always trust and have faith in reading the Bible. It is one of the best books to read. Matthew Chapter 11: 27 -29 reads “All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.”

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS.…”
