Babies: Those Who Want Can’t Get And Those Who Get Don’t Want

Unwanted

Unwanted baby deposited in a baby box.

Once I visited a Belgian couple in the neighborhood of Antwerp. They are married for many years and both are in their forties. They dearly love each other and many times, I study the way Peter treats his wife, kindly, gently and respectfully. “Joel, hold a woman like an egg, because when it breaks, you can’t pick it up, you will only miss your water when your well runs dry,” Peter once told me.

I do ask questions, especially when very close to someone. “Peter, you don’t like children,” I said. “I married to have children, but we never had one. I’ve tried everything without success, “said Peter. “After everything failed, did you ask from God,” I asked. “If there is God, then he might be a very wicked God,” said Peter.

I realized the pain and heartache of Peter. His comments are enough to know how dear baby means to him, but frankly speaking, when one seeks God, God will also seek you. His wife couldn’t bring forth a baby and now he hates God for that. It’s not only Peter and his wife facing this bitter experience. Worldwide, there are thousands of women looking for children without success.

Some have spent thousands of dollars just to be pregnant all to no avail. Many are sad in their matrimonial homes, because the child they are longing for never comes. Thousands of women are desperate looking for babies. Without any hope of having own their babies, some adopt children, yet thousands of babies are killed daily through abortion, strangulation and abandonment.

Some mothers are so cruel that one finds it difficult to believe what they did to their own babies, The question is, why babies often end up in the hands of women who don’t want them, when someone else is looking for one without success? Couple of months ago, a woman from New Jersey was arrested and charged with murder for allegedly putting her newborn baby in the middle of the road and setting the infant on fire.

Innocent babies are being dumped in toilets, bushes, roadsides, gutters etc, without any pity or remorse. The need to do more to help mothers with unwanted babies is necessary. Governments worldwide should also find a solution to avoid abandoned babies, because society wouldn’t accept this kind of cruelty. Germany has already found a solution to discourage abandoning of babies, by providing baby bank.

Lee Jong-rak , a pastor in South Korea, saw a devastating problem in the amount of abandoned babies left to die on the streets. He organized a “Baby Drop Box” where unwanted babies are deposited in a box, saving thousands of babies who would have been left on the streets or abandoned to die. Life is precious, people should stop killing babies.

I live on the South Gower coast, in an area of outstanding natural beauty that gives me plenty of inspiration. I hate housework and often wonder if there’s a breed of gruesomely grubby goblin whose sole purpose is to mess up people’s homes. My new book The Slapstyx explores this idea.

I like to think the fabric of material reality is riddled with holes leading to magical dimensions. When my nephew had a phase of video game addiction, I wondered how he would manage in a dimension where technology was banned: would he embrace the adventure or suffer withdrawal symptoms? This is how I came to write Gateway to Magic.

I spent most of my time in school writing stories, whether I was meant to be doing it or not. Since then I’ve had various jobs, played in two bands, taught children to play keyboards, written and performed in plays and made a short film. One of my scripts was shortlisted in a BBC scriptwriting contest, with positive feedback from Tony Jordan.

I share my home with Millie and Pearl, two beautiful rescue dogs who allow me to see the world through their eyes. They are also responsible for a lot of the mess.

Mistakes Most Women Do When Desperate

Couple of years ago in Africa, a pastor living somewhere in my neighbourhood, claims he has powers to cure barrenness and other health problems. Many women with diverse problems, including those looking for children without success, teamed up in numbers, all hoping and trusting this pastor, whose heart was far from God, using the Bible to prey on women who weren’t aware of his devilish plans.

BOSS 3

Love is strange and unpredictable, but relationship at work the right thing to do?

Have you heard that desperate people do desperate things? Actuated by a feeling of hopelessness, having an urgent need or finding yourself in desperate situations, what some people will do or go to the extreme lengths to get whatever they are looking for, will put you in a state of shock and bewilderment for the rest of your entire life, when you hear about it.

An ordained pastor serving God does what God requires of him, but this fake pastor was strong enough to tell each woman seeking for a ‘miraculous cure’ to have a baby, to remove their underwear. Like king Solomon sleeping with his concubines, the pastor defiled and had carnal knowledge with every woman that came to see him. Some of the women kept this ungodly act secret and those that thought he was a bad pastor told their husbands.

In the scotching sun, one hot afternoon, angry husbands stormed the premises of the false pastor with clubs and cutlasses. He peeped through the key hole of the door and saw angry men behind the door; trying to find their way into the room he had been committing his sins. I think that was the first time he had the vision to ask God what to do next. He opened the rear house window, jumped out and fled for his dear life. He was never seen again.

Women face different kinds of temptations daily in the society. The question is: Being a woman, what would you do when facing such temptations? For example, would you sleep with the boss of a company, who requests for sex before giving you the job of your dream or you will turn away from such a person? Reference: In 2010, the US-based Center For Work Life-Policy found that 15 per cent of women, even at executive level or above, admitted to sleeping with their boss.

BOSS 1

When love relationship with your boss turns messy at work, is the beginning of the lady’s nightmare.

Would you call such relationships stupid when it improved their career chances? If really some women can do that to get promotion, then how do they feel, knowing that they didn’t earn that promotion through hard work?  Yet there are many reasons experts say it is never good to have a relationship at working place. A lady who accepts such advances and sleeps with her boss, should keep in her mind that her boss will do similar thing again with the next female looking for job.

There are problems in relationships and when a relationship of such kind comes to a bitter end, who does it affect most, the boss or the lady? In my opinion one gains a lot of respect at work when you refrain from any love affair at work. Above all the chances of losing your job are very slim. It is also known that many women give up their jobs when experiencing unwanted sexual advances from their superiors. That’s good thinking and action.

Whatever temptation a woman might face, she has the power to make a bad or good decision, but always remember it is never good to involve in love affair at the office when you are paid to work. You might think you are the lucky one because you’ve been picked by your boss out of your colleagues, but when the relationship becomes stormy that will be the beginning of your nightmare.
