You Know Where To Find Me If You Want To Kill Me

Luther 8

Martin Luther King Jr.

Bad association spoils useful habits. The reason many like to keep away from lies, hypocrisy, crime, violence, prostitution etc. But in today’s world, everything has changed. If you are not a bad influence you can’t get friends. Looking for a true friend now, is like a search for a precious stone on a large acre of plot.

Nevertheless, those that want to live in truth, will continue to search, in spite of the pain, agony, humiliation, threat etc, that follow them. I was raised in a family that believed everything opposite to the principles in the Bible, including laziness, is a sin. Therefore I find it extremely hard to smile, when it’s time to frown or praise when time to criticize.

The decay and corruption of the society have rapidly affected every sector, including our judiciary system. Truth will not set you free, instead it may give you a lot of discomfort and sometimes may lead to your death, as it happened to Dr. Jeff Bradstreet, for opposing autism vaccine he considered dangerous for the health and former New York Times journalist, Sarah Kershaw,  exposing  the CIA’s mind control program of illegal program of experiments on human subjects.

Reading such articles in this dangerous world don’t scare me, instead they encourage me. The reason I teamed up with Holland’s Micro-Surgeon/Scientist Johan Van Dongen, to write every necessary article, to let the world know that a medical crime is being covered up by European and American leaders.

Just as I said, the truth will not always set you free, some may give you a lot of worries. Following his forty-years of research, fully and satisfied that Aids and Ebola were medical crimes used as bio-weapons against Africa, Professor Dongen published his findings, but little did he know that his native country, The Netherlands (Holland) will punish him for publishing the truth. He was betrayed by some of his scientist friends and eventually it cost him his job as a lecturer at the university.

The same hatred is generated towards me by some of the Belgian journalists, due to my uncensored raw articles. It’s like I’m exposing them. It’s like I have them to be recognized as liars, rather than self-dedicated honest journalists. If you are an European or American journalist and you find it hard to write openly that Aids, Ebola, Lassa fever etc; are medical crimes against Africa, I ‘m an African, I will do that and please don’t hate me for this. Hate yourselves for being liars and hypocrites.

About the fear of dying, that’s not in my agenda. Truth is always bitter than the bile. If you want that bitterness to taste sweet in your mouth, try to cultivate the habit of speaking the truth, because it’s our responsibility to restore out nation’s dignity, not to ruin it.

Should in case I die today, I will be very happy to go down my grave, but I want the truth to be published. The Belgian media shouldn’t write I committed suicide or drug related incidence, because Joel Savage doesn’t know what suicide is, above all I haven’t seen hashish before let alone cocaine.

Black History: Once Upon A Time In America

Years after slavery, African-Americans are still struggling to be real Americans

Elizabeth Ann Eckford, a student, and a key figure at the Little Rock Central High School is pictured being followed, booed and yelled at by a mob of whites. She was among the group of the nine African-American students famous for having desegregated the school in 1957. A closer look at the lady on the right, you can see the chilling, unreasonable dislike in her eyes. This reflects on the history of Apartheid Education in America.

In the deep sea, the big fish has no sympathy for the helpless small fish. They intimidate the small ones and always try to eat them up. That was once the hostile situation in America years back, in every sector, including the educational sector, against African-Americans.

It’s very embarrassing to see such images in America, a country that  believes in democracy, above all they say: In God We Trust.

The more disturbing factor is, America provided  a “safe haven” in the United States for Nazis criminals and their collaborators after World War II, yet subjected African-Americans to abuse, discrimination, lynching, experimentation, and slavery.

Abolition of slavery is a fact recorded in history, but the reality is, it still exists in many places around the globe, including America today because we live in a violent and corrupt society.

How many years now did America start fighting against an illegal drug entering its sovereignty? Because of corruption, the country is plagued by cocaine and other dangerous drugs, drastically taking its toll on many citizens.

There was a time, if you are an honest hard worker, with distinguished achievements in the society, you will be awarded, but now those who commit serious crimes against humanity are those that receive that awards, including the Nobel Prize. Among the ring of liars, if you want to remain different and live in truth, you will eventually become an enemy.

Do you feel this world is okay? Are you happy about the turmoil and the path of doom the world has taken? Why politicians fighting for power when they don’t have any means to save this world? Nothing in this world seems to be going better or doing well. Everything has taken the wrong path.

Whether Africans were used as Guinea pigs in testing drugs, whether Aids, Ebola, Lassa and other deadly diseases, were bio-weapons against Africans to depopulate the continent, or whether African-Americans were used for experimentation, the Black man has survived today. That power wasn’t strong enough to wipe out the black race.

Black history is a sad song and a rough road. Even though it’s like an image hanging on the wall, the Black man should change that sad song to a happy song and straighten up that rough road ahead of him. We should let go hatred, jealousy, racism, racial discrimination and hypocrisy to embrace love in our community.

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” —I Corinthians 13:4-8a.

Spend Your Money On Bread And Water Not Sickness

steakHealthy food can keep you free from hospital every time.

The immune system is made up of special cells, proteins, tissues, and organs, which defends people against germs and microorganisms every day. In most cases, the immune system does a great job of keeping people healthy and preventing infections.

People therefore have the best chance to enjoy a perfect healthy life, but the creation of man-made diseases, to generate profit through pharmaceutical companies and the constant abuse of the body with dangerous products, have taken its toll on the health of humanity and the cost is taking both the wealthy and the poor to the land of pain and poverty.

Abuse and the crave of things unhealthy for the body, have put our lives at stake. Large consumption of alcohol can affect ones health, yet people don’t care. Cocaine and other dangerous substances aren’t good for the health, but many don’t care. It is written on cigarette’s box ‘The surgeon general warns, cigarette smoking is dangerous,’ yet many ignored this warning and become human chimney.

People drink heavily and get kidney problems, while others get cancer for long smoking. This can be prevented. The happiness in life isn’t always being rich or living in luxury, because many are rich but suffering because of poor health. If you have good health, you will feel good and happy, even if you are not rich.

Someone can drive your car, cook for you, do your laundry and iron your clothes, but no one can bear your sickness or drink medicine on your behalf. This is the reason one needs to live clean, because life is precious. Spend your money on healthy food, drink and avoid making friend with the drug store. They are happy when they see you coming for medicines, because the corrupt medical system made it so.

Great Men Knocked Down By Women: Will It Ever Come To An End?

Place 2Great men in sex scandals: Top, from left to right, Bill Clinton, John Profumo , Kobe Bryant and below, from left to right, Mike Tyson, Tiger Woods and Jeffery Archer.

Newspapers often come out with stories of great people, including politicians and celebrities in sex scandals, turning their lives upside down. Because they weren’t strong enough to control their sexual desire or too weak to resist the charm and power of attractive ladies. From Biblical times, there are stories of infidelity and adultery, putting many great men in the worst positions.

One of such stories recorded in the scriptures is that of King David, a composer, the author of the book of Psalms. He couldn’t control his desire after seeing Uriah’s wife through his window taking her bath. After failing to persuade Uriah to sleep with his wife, to concede his sin and pregnancy of Bathsheba, David sent Uriah to the hottest part of a battlefield to get him killed. God severely punished David for his sinful act and the child died after birth.

Giving examples of Biblical records of great men involved in sex scandals wouldn’t be intriguing, so let’s shift to our past and present generation. On June 5, 1963, British Secretary of War John Profumo resigns his post after confessing that he had lied to the House of Commons about his sexual affair with Christine Keeler, an alleged prostitute. The scandal didn’t affect him alone but threatened to topple Prime Minister Harold Macmillan’s government.

A couple of years ago, it was revealed that former president of the USA, Bill Clinton, is involved in an affair with a former staff of the White House, Monica Lewinski. I watched as people argued that the story couldn’t be true. Is Clinton different from other great men women had brought to their knees? To make matters worse, after Clinton’s denial of not having any relationship with Monica, he later admitted to having sexual intercourse with Monica Lewinski.

What about the boxer Mike Tyson? He was convicted and jailed for raping Desire Washington. According to the story, Tyson invited her to his hotel room. To do what behind closed doors?  Later Mike Tyson was convicted of rape.  Many believe that Desire lied of being raped by Tyson, unfortunately not everyone believes that. Mike Tyson served his prison sentence but never became the iron Mike he used to be.  In one of his fights, after coming from prison, frustrated Tyson bit the ear of Evander Holyfield. They say the downfall of a man is not the end of his life, but at times some events and situations can be destructive.

Some years back in Britain, the famous British novelist Jeffery Archer, won a libel suit against the Sun newspaper for an article about him sleeping with a prostitute. According to Mr. Jeffery Archer, the story was untrue and it damaged his reputation. The author of ‘Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less’ was finally exposed. He admitted to having asked a friend to lie on his behalf to conceal the truth. So he did really sleep with a prostitute. The startling new revelation affected Jeffery Archer such that he stepped down from contesting the seat as the mayor of London. Oh, what a shame?

On September 1, 2004, the criminal sexual assault case against Kobe Bryant, the NBA star, was dropped by the prosecutors because the accuser no longer wanted to participate in the court process.   This was after Kobe Bryant was charged with sexual assault of a 19-year-old woman in a Colorado hotel where she worked. The question is “why is it that the mighty keep falling from the hands of women?” Is it lust, lack of control or temptation which is causing these problems? I can’t really unfold the mystery behind this.

One of such news about men involved in sex scandals, which shocked the world, was the case of the successful golfer, Tiger Woods. With such a  great career, leading him to all the corners of the world and winning great tournaments, the married man lost focus and hit the golf ball into the underwear of porno stars, severely damaging his reputation and career.  I am a man, therefore I know the comfort and satisfaction at that place which belongs to a woman, but I am aware of the dangers and temptation, especially if you are a married man.

According to the scriptures, God places people in situations where He tests their faith and commitment.  Why God does test us when He knew the man will fail? Is man trying to get back the rib God used to create the Eve-woman, while the woman fights hard to keep it? If God really tests man, then a man should pass the trial by not falling into temptations, because He also gave man power to resist temptation. In this case, a man shouldn’t blame God or woman for his failure.

Another question worth to bring on the table is: Can these bitter stories serve as a lesson to other men? Time will tell, but I don’t think so. Men will always drift into danger since the body is weak to resist temptation, moreover, Satan is like a hungry lion, lurking around the corner, looking for its next victim to devour, but we mustn’t allow him to catch us.

The Killing Indulgence: Don’t Be A Slave To Drug Abuse

Drug is something if you go into it, you can't get out of it.

The use of hard drug like cocaine has increased rapidly destroying the lives of many people

Crime and illegal activities, like drug peddling, are destroying our community and putting the health of individuals in danger. The disastrous effect of drugs on mankind is a global phenomenon that governments are yet to find a common solution. Consumption of dangerous drugs is tearing Europe and America apart, just like how AIDS has completely ruined Africa. On almost every street in Europe, junkies are commonly seen, especially in Spain, Germany and Holland. Hard drug has transformed able-bodied men into some fearful creatures like actors set for a horror movie.

Some are gaunt at the edge of death. Others have lost their families and properties. Some are insane leading them to permanent confinement in mental institutions. Similar to fight against terrorism worldwide, governments are fighting against drug abuse to ensure good health for its citizens. The drug menace, destruction and its drastic effect on people have dented and inflated the medical cost of many countries which citizens have been plagued by illegal usage of harmful drugs.

Every continent including America and Europe is at war over drug trafficking for almost a century. Surveillance and security at airports and border posts have increased but still hard drugs find its way into the hands of Americans and Europeans, taking its toll on citizens. Mexican drug barons and Italian mafias through different illegal sources bring drugs to the shores of Europe and America. Even though thousands of drug traffickers have been arrested, yet deadly drugs are still flooded in America and Europe.

Once hooked on drugs, they can’t do without them. The more they take it, the more they want it. In order to satisfy their demand, junkies resort to stealing anything they could lay their hands on. This has caused a sharp increase in crime. The question is: Are the authorities winning the war on drugs? The harvest is plentiful but the labourers are few. Despite previous and recent progress in arresting drug dealers and seizing tons of illegal drugs, the trade still goes on unabated.

Drug

Is the  “The global war on drugs is it yielding positive results or failing? From every angle, one could clearly see that the war on drugs is totally futile. New research has revealed more dangerous illegal drugs have become cheaper while their potency increased, indicating that efforts to control the global illegal drug market through law enforcement are failing.

War on drugs has totally failed that governments wish to consider decriminalizing drugs in a bid to cut consumption and weaken the power of organized crime gangs. Until the war on drugs is successful, many will continue to live in the abyss, taking them into their untimely grave. Harmful drugs had spread to the extent that it is tried by many people including children and pregnant women, putting the babies’ lives in danger.

Children are now using cocaine in large quantities like adults. It’s very hard to see one you loved consumed by drugs. In fact, the war on drugs is the responsibility of everyone. Parents have a role to play as well, by letting your child know that you have concerns about his well-being, educating the child on how dangerous drugs can be. When the child is already deep into drugs the only solution is to enter the child into rehab.

Failure Is A Lesson That Encourages And Improves The Quality Of Life

Life is precious than silver and gold

Having faith in God builds one strong to avoid depression, loneliness and the tendencies of suicidal

I have heard many times that ‘Failure is not an option.’ Does it mean that we have to be perfect and successful in whatever we want to achieve in life? How can that be possible? Because since we are human beings and imperfect, we shall continue to experience many setbacks, including failure and disappointment in daily in our lives.

In relationships, careers and businesses, we are all bound to suffer certain problems. The question is, how do we handle or take it personally when we encounter such painful defeats and failures? I have seen it sports, tournaments and in certain fields of activities, participants emotionally and psychologically break down in distress, because they failed to achieve what they aimed at.

Life isn’t an easy journey if you want to achieve something genuinely. Many like to avoid life pitfalls or turmoil, by choosing a wrong path or shortcut. You can see them driving expensive cars and dwelling in beautiful mansions, but you don’t know what they do for the living.

When you see them like that, many wish they are one of them, but be careful to wish you are someone until you read the front page of newspapers that the person you wished to be, has been arrested at one of the international airports, in possession of heroin or cocaine. Would you like your life to end up in this way, because you wanted to avoid life’s failures and disappointments?

The world is full of great people; sometimes your eyes will be filled with tears, when you read their autobiographies to know what they went through before achieving success. In life, failure or disappointment teaches one to be perfect. It worth therefore to see failure as one of the life’s tools which educate and shapes life in a positive way.

My passion to be a writer was easier in Africa than Europe, yet when I was in Africa, I thought Europe will be the right place for me to achieve my aims and objectives. Once in Antwerp, Belgium, I tried to raise a fund to enhance the publication of one of my books. It turns out to be one of the biggest failures in my life.

I couldn’t raise a cent, but this embarrassment wasn’t only what happened. I became a laughing puppet at the school where I’m working. It became a talk of the town with gossips and laughter. Instead of being sad or depressed, I embraced and accepted it as one of the life’s challenges to continue writing without looking back.

People do things you may find it hard to believe. I don’t even think children will do what they did. The failure of the fundraising also taught me to be careful those I contact to demand bread. If one fails to accept failures and disappointments as instruments destined to educate and propel your career to the highest peak, you may end up at the psychiatry with depression or mental problems.

Road Of Agony: A Novel By Joel Savage

In the last week of January 1976, my father died mysteriously, leaving behind his wife and eight children. I was just nineteen but matured enough to realise that I had a big responsibility lying on my shoulders, as the eldest son of my parents.

Shortly after completing my secondary school, the desire to continue my education wasn’t there any longer. Instead, I chose to travel and work, hoping that could help the welfare of my family. I travelled extensively, experiencing bullies, corruption, beatings and lockup.

Road of Agony

In West Africa, I covered Republic of Togo, Republic of Benin, Nigeria, Republic of Guinea, Ivory Coast, and Sierra Leone. Some of these countries I visited had its own sad story and bitter experience. After kidnap, beatings and incarceration, I made it to Barcelona, Spain, to meet another hostile life challenges.

My story is just not a story about me, but also about the bad attitude, vicious character, mercilessness, and wickedness of other people I encountered on the road of agony. I count myself to be one of the luckiest person living in this world today, fortunate enough to unfold this true story.

Excerpt

Obanko told Monk that he wanted to take Babatunde to the Pakistan restaurant for some food because he didn’t have much money on him. Babatunde excused Monk and he left the bar with Obanko to the restaurant. They were eating when the police burst into the restaurant with machine guns. It was the most frightening scene Babatunde had ever seen in his life.

Everyone was asked to put their hands on their heads and they conducted a very thorough search on everybody in the restaurant. Nothing suspicious was found on anyone. However, there was one African who didn’t want to cooperate with the police. He refused to do whatever he was told to do. Due to that, he was manhandled by one of the police officers.

From his speech and behaviour, it was obvious that the police had tormented him for a very long time and that he thought he has had enough of it. That, probably, was the reason he acted that way.He was dragged from the restaurant and pinned against a wall. His mouth was forcefully opened when he refused the order to do so.

With anger, he stretched his neck close to the face of the policeman and opened his mouth with screaming and the policeman gave him a dirty slap across the face. But at the end, nothing suspicious was found in his mouth, so he was set free.

As soon as the police left the scene, Babatunde bombarded Obanko with a series of questions. He asked him about the reason for that operation. Obanko told him that when the police suspect something or acting on a tip off, they always acted like that. The police came to the restaurant because many drug pushers use that place for business transactions.

The police told someone to jump thrice with open legs. The reason they did that was that if drug was hidden in his anus, it would fall on the ground.

“How did the police know that some drug pushers put stuffs in their anus?” asked Babatunde.

“Do you know how many times they have done that to me? I can’t tell you because it’s too numerous to count. Even though they get nothing from me any time they subjected me to this kind of punishment, yet they have caught many pushers in that way. This is Barcelona. Welcome to Barcelona,” said Obanko. He paused for a while and began again.

“Some of the friends we eat and drink with are informants to the police. In Spain, we called such people ‘Chibato.’ Just imagine, how can the police know that something is hidden at that part of the body? It is because of the ‘Chibatoes’.”

“The police are not stupid. They are specially trained for that,” said Babatunde.

“What I mean is before they knew that stuffs could be hidden there, one of the ‘Chibatoes’ informed the police about that. Anyway, let’s go to the Piazza to have a drink,” said Obanko.

“Wait a minute, do you still feel like drinking again despite wobbling on the way to the restaurant?” asked Babatunde.

“For your sake, I’m not taking ‘vino’ (wine) today. We shall take just beer, which has less percentage of alcohol.” At the Piazza, he ordered for two bottles of beer. While waiting for the waitress, he began telling Babatunde his experience in Barcelona.

“I came here four years ago; now, this is what I looked like. I never thought I would ever sell drugs for a living. I don’t want to lie to you. This is Barcelona. Welcome to Barcelona.”

He took a lighter from his breast pocket and lit a cigarette. Babatunde saw a long scar at the lower part of his chin and he asked him how he got it. “It’s a long story but if you want to know, I will tell you. “A junkie bought some ‘sand’ from me. I hope you know what I mean by ‘sand’? It’s cocaine. To avoid calling that name openly in the public, we call it ‘sand’.

Everyone knows about this. The junkie had no money on him. He knew that if he told me the truth, I was not going to give the ‘sand’ to him. “He put his hand in his pocket pretending to pay me; then, he slashed me with a sharp pen knife and escaped. As I lay bleeding, a tenant saw me through his window and called the police to the scene. An ambulance came for me to the hospital. I received a dozen of stitches and I was discharged the same day.”

“What did you tell the police when they questioned you?” asked Babatunde.

“I didn’t tell them the truth. I told them that I was robbed and beaten. I’m not sure if they believe me or not. However, that is a common thing in Barcelona. Everyday, minute, and second, thieves snatch away tourist bags and cameras. Sometimes when they want to save their belongings, they pay the price for it. Some are badly hurt,” said Obanko.
