When Efforts Of A Black Man Become Jealousy And Scorn In Belgium

Writer Joel Savage

“I became a subject of ridicule, scorn, and laughter in Antwerp, just because I’m writing books, but I refused to live the way they want.” – Joel Savage

Laughter takes place when something funny occurs. It can happen during conversation, celebration, events etc. According to a health magazine, laughter can support the immune system, improve blood pressure, stimulate the organs and even reduce pain. Laughter is said to be a medicine which improves health and lifts up your spirit. Surprisingly, most laughter isn’t about humor, but taunting and underestimation.

It is very bad to make fun of people, yet there are many who laugh at the handicap, old people, beggars, biologically deformed people, the sick and sometimes at people who accidentally fall. The features of the human body lead people to laugh at other people. We hear often, what an ugly face? Big mouth, big ears, big nose and other disheartening and hurtful comments.

At school, some children bully and laugh at other children. Most of these children are too young even to realize what they are doing is wrong. It’s therefore, baffles me a lot when I see adults who suppose to know more than children, doing exactly what children’s do. No child has ever laughed at me in my efforts to be a writer. My bitter experience of becoming a subject of ridicule and laughter in Belgium was at the hands of adults, mostly females I respect most. Jealousy rules the heart of many Belgians especially  in Antwerp when they see foreigners trying to achieve something because many of them are failures.

A Dutch woman once asked me in Antwerp “You, you wrote a book?” It seems there isn’t any possibility for a black to write a book. This followed when some of her colleagues told her about my books they read online. I smiled and went away. That should have given me a little common sense to keep away from people who underestimate other people. Underestimation is everywhere. It has got nothing to do with racism, but the blacks experience it more than anyone in every community.

Then in the same school where the Dutch teacher made that statement, my trust to the teachers pushed me further to start raising fund to publish one of my books. At a school with over fifty teachers, my efforts to raise that fund became a scene of laughter. I became a center of ridicule. I didn’t get a cent, instead many of the teachers laughed at me to the extent that the director of the school got the information and said to me that’s very bad.

It is not compulsory to donate when someone is raising fund to publish a book, but what has laughter got to do with this? Meer jealousy, because they can’t stand to see the success of a black man. That is the typical character of most people in Antwerp because  they think they know too much.  My bitter experience  is one of the strategies Antwerp people used to discourage the black to follow his dreams and goals.

They want to see you among black junkies, who lack the willpower to survive the psychological games of the white man. Many of my African brothers and sisters in Belgium have developed mental problems. I refused to live like that.

For over eight years, I was the only black man in Belgium who had a press card as a journalist. Thank God, another black radio journalist has joined me. Many Belgians ask me how I got my press card. “I am qualified for it. They wrote down a dozen of things to submit if I am a writer or journalist. Then I submitted them.” That’s my answer. I have lived in Belgium for over fourteen years and still haven’t seen a black journalist on their television.

Many Africans with journalism experience who couldn’t stand the discrimination and Apartheid system of work choice in Belgium, migrated to England soon as they had their Belgium passports. I have signed on the wall. I will never migrate to any country but to stay in Belgium to progress and be successful as a writer under their nose. Today I have achieved what many of their writers and journalists couldn’t do in their entire lives.

I have published seven books and they are doing well. With the Dutch scientist, Johan Van Dongen, we wrote the English version of ‘Aids and Ebola, the greatest crime in medical history against mankind.’ The best of all is working on new projects. Life is like a driver taking a journey. If you drive carefully, you will get to your destination safely and if you drive recklessly, you will end up in an accident. My endurance and patience have crowned my efforts.

Thanks to the American media and authors, such as Beem Weeks, Mishael Austin Witty, Amy Metz, Clancy Tucker and many others who played a significant role in my career as a writer. All those who laughed at me in Belgium, now have realized they laughed at the wrong side of the mouth.

Why America Killed Ghaddafi And Saddam Hussein?

SaddamFormer Iraqi and Libyan leaders: Saddam Hussein and Muammar Ghaddafi

By Joel Savage and Johan Van Dongen

Everyone fears something in this world. Many white people claim blacks are criminals, the reason they fear them. That’s not true, after all there are also White criminals. In Belgium for the past fifteen years, I quickly realized Belgians try to keep away from Black people, not because they are criminals, but scared that the Black man will let them pay for the horrible crimes they committed against them in Africa.

Africa is a big continent with diverse people and languages. Even though they lack powerful and sophisticated weapons to defend themselves in time of war, in terms of its size, Europe and America fear the African continent more than anything on earth. Even in Europe, many Europeans fear the presence of black people, especially when speaking a language they don’t understand.

Africans were living in that remote deadly continent for ages, before the first White missionaries ever set their feet and the vaccine for malaria was found. After many Europeans died of malaria, hence the ‘The White Man’s Grave’ was given as Africa’s second name. Their next goal was to find out how Africans were able to survive on that harsh tough continent.

Europeans were not happy over the way Africans were stronger than them. Instead of learning how they survive on that harsh continent, they decided to invade it, loot the continent, capture the people into slavery and depopulate it with deadly diseases including Aids, Ebola, Lassa fever, Ziga virus and other deadly diseases.

That wasn’t enough for Europe and America. They made sure to kill every powerful African leader that poses a threat to them. In South Africa Steve Biko was brutally murdered. After Kwame Nkrumah survived coup attempts, including the Kulungugu bomb in the Northern region of Ghana, in another coup orchestrated by the CIA, Nkrumah was overthrown-ed and died in exile. Another powerful African leader is off the list of America.

Libyan leader Muammar Ghaddafi

The next powerful African head of state Europe and America targeted was Patrice Lumumba of Congo. Belgium couldn’t stand the pain, when the country attained its independence, despite all the riches stolen from the country. In a coup master-minded by Europe and America, Lumumba was brutally murdered by Belgium. Belgium has since apologized for this horrible crime they committed, but Africans can forgive but they can’t forget.

After those two powerful great African leaders, no African head of state posed a threat to Europe and America, more than Libyan leader Muammar Ghaddafi. The oil rich country leader was strong, stubborn and had no respect for America and Europe. He usually called them ‘Dogs, uncircumcised or infidels.’

The hatred of Ghaddafi towards Europe and America was so intense that he started to wage war of terror and sponsoring terrorism against them. Ronald Reagan knew the only way calm down Ghaddafi was to be assassinated. Under operation code-named ‘Operation El Dorado Canyon, United States attacked Libya on Tuesday, 15 April 1986. The attack was carried out by the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps via air strikes, in response to the 1986 in Berlin discotheque bombing.

There were 40 reported Libyan casualties, and one US plane was shot down, resulting in the death of two airmen, but Ghaddafi survived the attack. Ghaddafi denied terrorism actions against Europe and America, but he couldn’t continue denying over his involvement in the bombing of flight Pan Am 103 which killed 270 passengers, crew and townspeople over and in the Scottish town of Lockerbie in December 1988, because two Libyans were identified as official suspects.

Even though Libya compensated the victims of the Lockerbie bombing by handing $1.5bn to the families of those killed on the Pan Am flight, his presence as a powerful leader in Africa , gave Europe and America sleepless nights. Whatever events which led to the capture and assassination of the leader on October 20, 2011, leading to his death, were plans orchestrated by Europe and America. Now that Libya is in ruins and powerless, Europe and America can now sleep very well. Why should the mouse get worried when the cat is trapped high on the tree?
Saddam Hussein: The Iraqi leader with iron fist
Saddam Hussein believed to be a successful leader, the needs to be ruthless, merciless, wicked and unfriendly with Europe and America are necessary. In fact, he was one of the evil men in political history followed by Idi Amin of Uganda. Holding on to power for 30 years, Saddam launched two attacks on the neighboring states of Iran and Kuwait.
Was Saddam once America’s best friend? The United States once supported Saddam, in curbing the export of a radical theocratic revolution, cooperated with the Iraqi government by supplying Saddam with economic assistance, weapon sales, the assistance of the US naval battle group, and satellite and other intelligence information in regard to the placement of Iranian troops.

This favour came back haunting America. It was no surprise that President Bush used the excuse that Saddam was habouring weapons of mass destruction to invade the country. “The dictator who is assembling the world’s most dangerous weapons has already used them on whole villages, leaving thousands of his own citizens dead, blind or disfigured,” said George Bush.

The accusation that Iraq has used chemical weapons against its citizens is a familiar part of the debate. The piece of hard evidence most frequently brought up concerns the gassing of Iraqi Kurds at the town of Halabja in March 1988, near the end of the eight-year Iran-Iraq war. President Bush himself has cited Iraq’s “gassing its own people,” specifically at Halabja, as a reason to topple Saddam Hussein.

But the truth is, all we know for certain is that Kurds were bombarded with poison gas that day at Halabja. We cannot say with any certainty that Iraqi chemical weapons killed the Kurds. This is not the only distortion in the Halabja story.

Saddam Hussein was eventually toppled and executed, but no weapons of mass destruction were found in Iraq, making George Bush one of the greatest liars in America’s political history. Everything is completely wrong in America yesterday and today, as they keep on showing their prowess through the destruction of other people.

Why America is now using Genetically Modified Mosquitoes Spreading Zika Virus As Bio-warfare?

It will be recalled that on September 18, 2014, Guinean government officials visited the village of Womme in the country’s southeast, they planned to educate people about Ebola and show them how to avoid it — in a region where many still believe the virus doesn’t exist. But it all went disastrously wrong. Villagers responded furiously, pelting the delegation with stones and beating the visitors with clubs, according to Guinean radio.

The delegation, which included doctors and journalists, fled into the bush after the attack Tuesday. The Guinean government said Thursday that eight delegation members had been killed, including several journalists, news agencies reported. There also were reports that 21 people had been injured.

“It’s very sad and hard to believe, but they were killed in cold blood by the villagers,” government spokesman Albert Damantang Camara said, according to Agence France-Presse. A local police officer, Richard Haba, said the villagers believed that Ebola “is nothing more than an invention of white people to kill black people.”

EUROPE AND AMERICA ARE NOW AWARE THAT AFRICANS KNOW AIDS, EBOLA AND LASSA FEVER ETC; WERE MEDICAL CRIMES AGAINST THE CONTINENT

Since after this deadly incidence in Guinea, Europe and America are very cautious and aren’t prepared to lose any of their nationals from the health sector on African soil, so they planned a new strategy to inflict pain and destruction by testing the created bio-weapons on poor people, hence the genetically modified mosquitoes now spreading Zika virus through out Latin-America.

Yes! America want to prove that if the medical crime can’t be done by touching down in countries or where ever they wanted, it can be done as bio-weapon through the air, but let us just wait and see, because what’s coming tomorrow is hidden from the wise and the prudent.

The State Of The European Union And The Impact Of Television On The Society

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Joel Savage interviews Sergi Vicente, the Director of Barcelona Televisio.

Apartheid bowed to democracy in South Africa, the Berlin wall came tumbling down and the Soviet Union collapsed. Globally things were financially, economically and politically falling apart, when the European Union was formally established on November I, 1993, to share free market and single monetary policy for over more than 300 million citizens.

Many Europeans, including Belgians, argue that things were better and life more comfortable, before the European Union was formed. For example, the past and present turmoil in other European countries, including Greece, reveal the European Union is unstable and steering into stormy waters.

My recent visit to Barcelona, I called on Mr. Sergi Vicente, the director of Barcelona Televisio, to give me his views and opinion on the present state of the European Union and the impact of the television on the society. Below are the excerpts of the interview.

Joel: There are thousands of Europeans, especially Western Europe, who aren’t satisfied over the formation of the European Union, because the pattern of lives changed, as prices of commodities escalated, affecting, the economy and the standard living of Europeans, leaving many unemployed. Let’s take Greece for example. What do you think?

Vicente: I don’t see the unification of the European Union as a failure. There are advantages and disadvantages in everything but in regard to the Union, the best has been achieved. Transparency, Communication, integration and the growth of successful free market, are some of the achievements. Besides, the EU has thrived to develop liberty, justice,  education, prosperity, peace, security, the protection of the environment and health, thus; helping to disseminate basic human values at the global level.

Joel: Lack of employment, is a situation many Europeans are facing today. What’s the employment situation in Spain?

Vicente: As you just said, it’s a crisis many Europeans are facing, yet the problem has led to the creation of new jobs in other fields to reduce the unemployment rate. Unemployment may be long or short term, but things will improve.

Joel: Journalism is rapidly losing its credibility, that’s the way many feel, because a lot of the media hide the truth and facts from the public. What’s your opinion?

Vicente: As a journalist heading an institution, we try our best to give the right information to the general public. This is the reason readers and viewers have favourite newspapers or television stations. Being transparent is one of the tools to build a good reputation. So I don’t see the reason the media should mislead people.

sergi

Mr. Sergi Vicente, Director of Barcelona Televisio.

Joel: Barcelona used to be a city for drug addicts and peddlers. Is there any change?

Vicente: You’ve already seen that there is a dramatic change in the city, since the country is one of the most visited tourists attraction in the world. The mayor, police and other officials had worked hard and still relentlessly working hard to make the city  healthy and  safe for tourists.

Joel: Television is a great source of entertainment and education, yet many believe it’s responsible for crime and immorality which have plagued and crippled our society.

Vicente: I can’t say television is responsible for crime, even though I agree that it has both advantages and disadvantages.Children are protected and cared by adults, thus, it’s the responsibility of parents to control what children watch on the television. Controling children is part of the training and caring for children. Bad friends can also influence children. As a matter of fact, television educates more than influencing children negatively.

Joel: Mr. Vicente, thanks for the interview.

Vicente: You are welcome.

The Bitter Experience Of Man Makes Him A Wise Person

African adventures

The shadow of the sun reveals Polish writer, Ryszard Kapucinski’s adventures in Africa

When one looks at a bird in a cage, you may think the bird is very happy, because it flies, whistles and hops in the cage without halting. You will only know how happy the bird is when you open the cage. With tremendous force, the bird flies away without looking back. That is the real taste of freedom.

Many times, society calls people that aren’t contributing anything positive towards the benefit of the society, lazy or useless person, yet your efforts and hard work, would not always give you friends or lovers, but an empire of deceitful enemies and people who wish you will never make it in life. The more one meets life challenges, the more he or she learns and creates a better future for himself.

If African-Americans have gone through the worst in life and still experiencing hard life scenarios, then as an African in Belgium, don’t argue with me when I say that in the past, I lived in entity of scorn, discrimination, and underestimation, as a sort of tool to prevent me achieving my aims and objectives as a writer. I’m still fighting to find the reasons when a white man goes to Africa; he is treated like the queen in her Buckingham Palace, while the black man in a foreign country is seen as nothing but a sort of alien.

African leaders in some ways have betrayed us like the white man. When the white man comes to Africa, he knows the reason he came, reasons that are never known. A lot of dangerous vaccines have been inoculated to cause sicknesses and to generate diseases in the continent without the knowledge of our leaders because they were only interested in the money and corned beef the white used as bait. Africa is like a dumping ground for all unwanted stuff from Advanced Countries.

It is not an exaggeration to say that almost all Africa’s woes, wars, and diseases were caused by Europeans and America at the same time. I wish anyone who doubts what I am saying to read the book called “The Shadow of The Sun” by Polish author Ryszard Kapuscinski. The book reveals the most shocking atrocities committed by Europeans against Africa, including the role of the Belgians in the Rwanda’s Genocide.

Conclusion: Why would you hate me for blaming the white man of the troubles in my continent? Why do people still doubt that Aids and Ebola were medical crimes against Africa? Many foreigners leave Belgium, as soon as they get their Belgium passport, I will live in Antwerp without moving an inch, for them to witness my progress, despite the Apartheid system of government they run.

Finally, Africa has to stop immediately all kinds of cooperation for testing vaccines or medicines in their innocent population. If a new vaccine is made, those scientists have brothers, sisters, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles etc, they should test those devilish vaccines on them.

What Was The Reason Belgium And Belgians In The Congo Never Used Koprowski’s Vaccine Against Polio?

By Johan Van Dongen and Joel Savage

Koprowski 10

Kiprowski in the laboratory.

The vaccine was indeed very easy to produce with monkey kidney cells, but the extract obtained from polio infected monkey kidney tissue was so badly filtered that only bacteria from the substance was withdrawn, and the monkey’s deadly tissue resident viruses escaped their attention. Anyone with the contaminated vaccine from Koprowski was treated as one who has a virus which did not naturally occurred in humans.

Koprowski’s vaccine was cheap in the United States and had been tested on twenty mentally handicapped children from a mental health facility in New York. He decided to produce it in large quantity in preparation to serve in Africa, but not in the United States. Even though he tested the vaccine on handicapped children, he never had a license or permission from the American government.

To implement its first major immunization, he settled in the Belgian Congo. He built a laboratory at Camp Lindi, in Stanleyville, now called Kisangani, and finally vaccinated all black animal keepers with Chat l-type vaccine. Apparently the results to him were satisfactory. As quickly as possible, he rounded up the people in the northeast of the present Federal Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi to vaccination stations. This took place in the fifties.

In the hands of Belgian doctors and nurses, the polio-active vaccine with long needles, were sprayed into the open mouths. The exact number of doses is not known, but estimates indicate that approximately one quarter of a million men women and children were inoculated with strong contaminated vaccine with Type l-Chat. The real impact of the vaccine on the black population in this former Belgian colony was heavy.  They were affected by many diseases and the causes were difficult to trace.

Koprowski 3

It was discovered that, during the polio vaccinations, two different methods were used. Hundreds of thousands of Africans were “sprayed” while contrasts to the white “caps” were given. The latter method has the advantage that when the vaccine is not viral, there are no bacterial infections in the mouth and the esophagus, because the capsule dissolves in the stomach. Why is that Belgium and Belgians in the Congo never used the vaccine or the capsule?

Belgium was aware that Koprowski’s vaccine against polio is contaminated. It was well known fact that the vaccine of Koprowski caused very dangerous side effects in 1959, including Aids and Ebola, because of a publication.  On May 14, 1956, Sabin published an article in the British Medical Journal, explaining that he has found an unknown cell-killing virus in the polio vaccine of Koprowski. In this way, the American scientist who had vaccinated only black-skinned people massively in the former Belgian Congo did not respond to this serious accusation.

Nevertheless, he was never accepted by American Congress Committee and was called to give account of how he developed a chat-type vaccine which indeed was very much contaminated with numerous serious monkey viruses. Now it stands that thousands of people in Africa have been inoculated with a dangerous vaccine giving birth to Aids and Ebola. Koprowski’s confession quietly made him to disappear from the scientific stage.

However, his work and the dying of thousands of Africans are dated and can be accounted for. It also gives evidence that Aids and Ebola, didn’t get to Africa miraculously, but both viruses were deliberately done. Some people consider this crime as genocide, demanding those involve to face the international court of law in the Hague, the Netherlands.

“The updated version of “Aids and Ebola, the greatest medical crime against humanity” will be available at Amazon.com on May 28, 2015.”
